Wir möchten uns bei Collette und Ihrem Mann für die schönen Tage bedanken. Wir waren mit 4 Generation da. Riesiger Spielplatz, viele Tiere, Ranch, Sauna, es war für jeden etwas dabei. Das Haus ist sehr originell und fantasievoll eingerichtet. Unser Enkel durfte bei Tierfütterung mit helfen. Wir kommen wieder.

Colette doet heel veel moeite. Colette nam Rosie 2,5 j bij voederen van de dieren. Rosie mocht onder veilig toezicht de dieren voederen van Colette. Het lijkt een paradijs op aarde. Als je aankwam ben je tussen de dieren en zoveel meer ... Het is al een atractie op zichzelf. Het enige nadeel was de lawaai van de autostrade. Maar er zoveel om te genieten dat vergeet je gewoon.

The accommodation is very quirky and each room has a different themed decor. You can see a lot of work and love went into this. There is also enough room for 9 people and a baby. Some people complained about the noise of the motorway, but we found this to be no issue at all.

We booked this accommodation especially because of the petting farm, but as the owners went on holiday themselves during the whole of our stay, we could only view the animals and not feed and pet them. The children were disappointed. Also, a very important criterion for booking this place was the dishwasher as we were 10 and we absolutely did not want to do dishes during our weekend. However, the dishwasher was a half size model and EVERYTHING you put in it came out dirty. So we had to do all of the dishes manually which took up an essential amount of our holiday time. Even worse was the gas cooking stove of which only 2 of the 5 pits were in working order. More so, the large pit was a serious fire and safety hazard as when trying to alight it, it produced a shooting burst of flame, nearly burning our hair! Cutlery in the drawers was dirty (probably due to the malfunctioning dishwasher) In the double bedroom with en-suite bathroom there were nails sticking out of the floor around and in front of the bed. 2 people were hurt due to this. There were not enough bath towels for everybody. The whole property could use with a serious renovation/refurbishment. We understand that this is an older property and has the accompanying charm, but the things lacking caused our weekend away to be less enjoyable than it should have been, which is a shame.
