About this house rental

This uniquely situated estate is nestled in the rolling hills of the unspoilt landscape of the Herve country, a stone's throw from Maastricht, Liège and Aachen. Optimal privacy in the middle of nature and yet also only 20 minutes by car from the Vrijthof in Maastricht, the center of Aachen and the beautiful city of Liège. The area is characterized by low hills with meadows hemmed with hedges and orchards. The house and the garden are very child friendly. The house is reached via a private road of 500 meters so there is no traffic and children can run around freely. Play equipment, sandpit, table football and table tennis table.
After a day of shopping in Maastricht, you can stroll around the estate's estate and enjoy the beautiful view, grazing cows and a breathtaking sunset while sitting on the various seats.

The main house is very tastefully decorated with preservation of old details and beautiful old floors. The house has a Provencal appearance. Next to the main house is a separate guest apartment suitable for 2 people. Ideal for family reunions, friends weekends or a wonderful holiday with your own family.
The climate here in the summers is really a continental climate with warm balmy summer evenings. In the winter there is often a thin layer of snow. If you are lucky you will see deer and roe deer roaming freely in the meadows around the house.

Dining room with long dining table. Cozy sitting room with fireplace.
In total 8 bedrooms, (bed linen can be rented separately), each for 2 p. Extra baby bed available.

Beautiful very sunny garden with wide views to all sides and breathtaking sunset.
Small playground for children and sandpit. Table tennis table.
Covered parking for 3 cars. Total parking for 6 cars.

This was a perfect refuge for our family refuge - plenty of places to enjoy meals and play games together and easy drives to Liege, Mastrict and Aachen in 3 EU countries. We could also walk the fields and forests and enjoy local foods.

Perfect location for a group getaway

A very charming, cosy and well equipped country house in an idyllic location in the Belgian countryside - it was the perfect place for a wonderful reunion for three families from the UK and Australia. We all hope to repeat the experience one day! The easy accessibility to the lovely Dutch city of Maastricht was a bonus. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Ein wirklich besonderer Ort, der mit viel Liebe gestaltet ist. Das Objekt ist sehr idyllisch gelegen, umringt von weiten Feldern und trotzdem einfach zu erreichen. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles was man braucht. Der perfekte Ort zum Seele baumeln lassen! Vielen Dank 🙏🏻

Heel leuk familieweekend in een leuke buurt! Ook korte wandelroutes in de nabijheid (handig met kleine kindjes). Het huis is wel niet zo goed geïsoleerd. Niet handig met kleine kindjes (als er eentje wakker is, is iedereen wakker). Er was een waterlek in de keuken. Dit hebben we gemeld bij afloop van het verblijf.

Je hoeft niet ver van huis om helemaal weg te zijn. Wat een heerlijk rustige plek en fantastisch huis is dit. We hebben met een groep vrienden genoten. Het enige puntje is dat de keuken wat klein is voor de omvang van het huis.

Es handelt sich um ein sehr geschmackvolles, mit Liebe zum Detail renoviertes altes Gehöft in wunderschöner, sehr ruhiger und trotzdem gut erreichbarer Lage. Sowohl im Haus als auch im großen Garten gibt es ausreichend Platz für bis zu 16 Personen. Zusätzlich kann man ein kleines Nebenhäuschen für 2 Personen buchen. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Herd; Kühlschrank und Spülmaschine sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und der Kühlschrank Ist auch etwas klein.

Samen met een groep vrienden een heel leuk verblijf gehad in dit huis dat een goede uitvalsbasis vormt voor een lang weekend Maastricht. Het huis heeft veel ruime slaapkamers en ligt heel rustig op slechts 20 minuten rijden van het centrum van Maastricht. Je hebt wel echt een auto nodig. Heerlijk gewandeld in de omgeving en het huis heeft een mooie open haard. Verder heel sfeervol en gezellig ingericht.

Heerlijk familie reünie weekend gehad afgelopen september in dit mooi gelegen huis vlak over de grens in België. Het huis heeft een hele mooie en grote tuin met heel veel privacy. Het uitzicht is prachtig. Als activiteit hadden wij een stadswandeling geboekt met een gids door Maastricht en sloten we af met een cursus Limburgse vlaaien bakken. Heel leuk! Het huis is leuk ingericht en er is genoeg te doen voor de kinderen (tafelvoetbal, pingpongtafel en speelweide). Omdat het huis aan een doodlopende weg ligt konden de kinderen heerlijk en veilig buiten spelen want er was geen enkel verkeer. Wij hebben een fantastisch weekend gehad en kunnen dit aan iedereen aanraden voor een lang weekendje weg. Zo dichtbij en toch in het buitenland!

Wir hatten ein wunderbares und für meine Partnerin unvergessenes Wochenende. Leider wetterbedingt grau und regnerisch, aber durch diese Lokation war es ein voller Erfolg. Viele Gäste haben das Haus bewundert und sich die Adresse für einen eigenen Aufenthalt dort gemerkt. Sehr gerne werden wir das Haus weiterempfehlen und auch selbst gerne wiederkommen.

Afgelopen weekend drie dagen met een grote groep meiden in dit huis verbleven. Ondanks het koude weer was de sfeer erg warm en gezellig, mede dankzij de prachtige omgeving en de knusse inrichting van het huis. Perfect voor grotere groepen, zowel jong en oud. Het is een geweldige plek voor wandelingen en andere sportieve activiteiten. Maastricht is goed bereikbaar. Wat mij betreft kom ik hier nog een keer terug!
