Casa Encosta da Lagoa

We had a lovely, comfortable stay at Casa Encosta da Lago. The beds gave a very comfortable night’s sleep and both bathrooms were good – even having somewhere to put a washbag and hang towels – which makes a change from some accommodation we’ve stayed in. Air conditioning in both bedrooms and living room a bonus. I think there was every item you could need at any time of year. Yes, there are steps down to the property but everything is on one level once your there. The terrace was large with a lovely view over the estuary over to the sea. Easy parking outside the property and easy to find following google maps and the hosts were easy to contact if needed. No large shopping store in the village but a good choice of shops and large supermarkets an easy 12 minutes along the road. We enjoyed exploring the area with Obidos, Alcobaca and Praia do Norte, Nazare our favourites. Thoroughly recommended!!

Apartment had everything we needed and staff were very attentive when contacted. Having washer and dishwasher was really useful. Beds comfy.

I had to wash the floor as our socks were dirty after 1st night of walking about. I think this is because of the wind that blows in dirt. Also maybe think that the fridge needs replacing as aesthetically it does not look great but still works fine.

Beautiful view with nice garden, play set for our grandson and swimming pool. Large living room an dining room with big kitchen and nice private patio. Television with Netflix and Amazon Prime

Prachtige locatie met vriendelijke host / eigenaar. De woning is zeer zeer compleet en schoon. Bedden helemaal prima. Omgeving prachtig, bakker in het dorp en bij het strand aantal restaurants. Ik heb al veel gezien van de wereld maar hier willen we graag terugkomen!

Eigenlijk niks wat écht tegen viel, klein dingetje dat toiletbril los zat maar dat kan simpel opgelost worden.
