Serah's Homestay

I stayed here for two weeks and would have extended if I could. I was here last year and absolutely loved it. The location is great, it’s great value for money and the rooms are a great size. Water always available on site, great breakfast. Beng is the most incredible host. He organised my scooter, my shuttles and helped me get to Gili air with no issues. He is really great help, always happy and as a solo traveler I always feel so safe and looked after there. He really is the star of that place. The ladies making the breakfast and cleaning the rooms are also so lovely.

We loved every minute of our stay at Serah's Homestay. The owners and staff are incredibly kind and warm, always greeting us with great stories. They went out of their way to serve our breakfast early at 7:00 AM so we could surf, which we appreciated so much. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the cozy location is perfect, peaceful and away from Kuta's main noise, yet still close to everything. Renting scooters directly from them with a sweet discount made getting around super easy.

A few tiny details could make it even better. The AC is a bit old and noisy, though it works fine, and the bathroom tiles could use a deep clean, which makes sense for a classic 16-year-old property. Extra outdoor lighting at night would add a nice touch, and a Wi-Fi upgrade would be a huge help for remote workers like us.
