Amazing Vintage Flat in Principe Real Lisbon

We were able to check in late and use a door code to enter.

There was quite some noise from the street, more than we expected.

La localisation est excellente, proche du centre mais pas au milieu avec des petits restaurants et excellentes boulangeries et cafés ds un rayon de max 500m, l’appartement est comfortable et très vivable pour un court séjour, linges propres, le tout correctement nettoyé.

Le jardin est très délabré, partagé et n’est pas du tout connecté à l’appartement. Le bouilloire et le lave-vaisselle ne semblent pas fonctionner, l’aération de la sdb fonctionne au bruit d’hélicoptère.

We stayed for a month and were staying in Lisbon to explore and relax. The apartment is next to a really lovely square with lots of good food and drink options. It's an easy walk to most parts of Lisbon and public transport is also within easy reach. Not great for parking but there is a paid parking garage within a 5 minute walk. The bedrooms were good sized and comfortable and the living room was reasonably comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and helpful whenever we asked a question. As an FYI, The apartment is on the first floor and the garden is a floor below (it is a communal garden for the building). the title and images imply the garden is more directly available to the apartment (at least I had that impression), but to be fair it is clearly stated in the description so my bad for not reading properly.

It's Noisy. The bedrooms are on the street side and the apartment is next to a very busy Pizzeria. There is also a busy bar/club on the same street. The weekends in particular were a little too noisy for our liking. (If you are out partying yourself this shouldn't be a problem). Also found that soundproofing within the building wasn't great either although that's not uncommon in Lisbon.
