Itzik the owner spent quite a long time with us advising us on things to see in the area and just being generally extremely helpful. Everything was great!

Lovely garden, quiet neighborhood, the room was bright, clean and beautifully furnished. There was a beautiful sunroom with a record player and wine which was a lovely touch. We sat and had our coffee there in the morning.
The checkout was really early for a Saturday morning, we had to checkout at 10:00.

Itzik is probably the most welcoming and friendly host you can find in all of Israel. He went way and beyond to help us plan our visit, calling places we asked about to answer our questions. We found his recommendations to be excellent. Meirav's Brandy is one of its kind, the cake she made was super delicious - and they gave us all these and more without us even asking. This has been the second time we stayed at Stav Bagolan, and we are sure we'll come again.
One of the windows didn't have light blocking curtains, and light was entering the room early in the morning.

The location of the three zimmers they rent out - upstairs with a hall - and the whole feel of the place - super high ceilings with wood beams, and separate bathtub room with a full size lie-down-all-the-way tub - all had a european feel that reminded me of places i'd stayed in Austria and Germany.
also, Itzik brought us up a plate of freshly cut watermelon....so thoughtful...
beds were great - plenty of towels; A/C just fine.
We had a great time.
