The apartment is set on a quiet hillside with breathtaking views of the aquamarine sea. It’s compact but has everything you need, spread over two floors, with balconies from each bedroom and a large private terrace where we loved having breakfast or dinner. There’s also convenient parking right by the apartment.
The hosts were always friendly, responsive, and easy to reach. Check-in and check-out were smooth and simple. The place was cleaned during our stay, with fresh bed linen and towels provided.
Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday close to one of Crete’s most beautiful beaches! 🌊
The only downside is that the walk back from Voulisma Beach takes about 15 minutes uphill — but the view and peaceful atmosphere make it absolutely worth it.

We had a lovely stay at the Anemone Homes. Hosts gave a very helpful tips about the area, there’s a nice beach walking distance from the property, a friendly cat roaming the premises, our room was small but charming.
Garden area is lovely.
There was a bottle of water and wine waiting for us upon arrival which was a nice touch.
Overall we enjoyed our 3 nights and it seems like a nice value for money.
I would appreciate a little more privacy, our room was on a first level and people were constantly passing by our window/walking through “terrace” area, so keep this in mind while booking, maybe request a higher level if you want more privacy.
Note: there’s a big road under the property, wasn’t a big problem for us, but if you are a light sleeper might be tricky

The apartment was clean and very nicely decorated in an authentic Greek style. The hosts were a very nice and friendly couple.
The apartment has wooden window frames that have absolutely no noise insulation. Since the apartment is closely located to the trees there is a terrible noise coming from cicadas every(!) morning. This shocked us after the first night in the apartment: it was so noisy that it woke both of us up very early in the morning. Also, our apartment was located at the corner on the sunny side of the building with the sun shining at it the whole time, which obviously heated up the apartment quietly badly.
During the 3-night stay in the apartment, the bed linen and towels were not changed. The host gave us only spare small foot towels for the bathroom.
Finally, the beach near the accommodation was very disappointing. It has a beautiful color water, but the road to/from the beach is not convenient at all and the shoreline is extremely narrow. There are some sunbeds (half of which are basically standing in water) that you can rent for a fee and no other place at the beach for people to suntan or even sit down.
