I’m absolutely in love with this place! We stayed here for 3 nights. The apartments are located on a hill right above a beautiful beach, and the view is simply breathtaking. We stayed in a two-story apartment with two bedrooms upstairs, and a living room with a separate kitchen downstairs. It has three terraces in total — a huge main one on the ground floor and two smaller ones upstairs — so it feels incredibly spacious. Instead of a modern, generic interior, it’s a real, authentic Greek home. Just wow! The view over Voulisma beach is amazing. Agios Nikolaos is very close by, and you can easily take a bus, taxi, or rental car there for an evening walk. It’s also a great base if you plan to visit Vai beach, though I personally loved Voulisma beach way more! There are restaurants and shops nearby, just a short 10 to 15-minute walk away. The kitchen has everything you need, and there’s convenient parking on site. The owner is super friendly and always happy to help.

the second time I stayed at Anemone. As great as the first time. Aliki and Vrettos are the sweetest hosts and so is everyone who works on the property. We came for 5 days and then extended for another 5 as nothing compares with the amazing view you have from the apartment. Overall is a great stay in Crete and reasonable price. The Voulisima beach is walking distance, and so it's a secluded little beach just across the street from the property through the olive trees. We will definitely come back

The apartment was clean and very nicely decorated in an authentic Greek style. The hosts were a very nice and friendly couple.

The apartment has wooden window frames that have absolutely no noise insulation. Since the apartment is closely located to the trees there is a terrible noise coming from cicadas every(!) morning. This shocked us after the first night in the apartment: it was so noisy that it woke both of us up very early in the morning. Also, our apartment was located at the corner on the sunny side of the building with the sun shining at it the whole time, which obviously heated up the apartment quietly badly. During the 3-night stay in the apartment, the bed linen and towels were not changed. The host gave us only spare small foot towels for the bathroom. Finally, the beach near the accommodation was very disappointing. It has a beautiful color water, but the road to/from the beach is not convenient at all and the shoreline is extremely narrow. There are some sunbeds (half of which are basically standing in water) that you can rent for a fee and no other place at the beach for people to suntan or even sit down.
