    I stayed on level 32 and the views were lovely, there was a small balcony, the apartment was very clean, tidy, comfortable, cozy and quiet. Pretty much across the road from Southbank and easy to walk to St Kilda Rd for trams to access the rest of the city. Within walking distance to the Crown too. Can’t fault it, great value for money

    Second stay at Oaks, but this experience was disappointing. The room was very hot, especially during the day, and the air conditioning did not seem to work properly. I had to leave the bedroom table fan on all night, which was noisy and made it difficult to sleep. It was surprising to see a standalone table fan being relied upon in a rental property. There was no drinking water in the fridge, most of the coffee pods were decaf, and the slippers mentioned in the booking details were not provided. The bathroom was also very small and lacked basic features such as a hook for clothes, no shower cap. The location is excellent, but overall the stay did not meet expectations.

    I was disappointed with this visit. I have stayed previously and had a couple minor concerns, but this stay was not a nice experience. River view is recommended, and it’s a nice view, until you look down off the balcony. Rubbish everywhere, on apartment grounds. The rooms I’ve stayed in have been neat and clean, mostly. Keeping in mind this is an apartment. On this visit, not sure I’ll go back. And all of this has been reported, but without feedback. The fridge was unstable, the bathroom sink blocked, tops in the carpet, stains on the carpet, locks on doors broken. I would not recommend staying here unless room is first viewed, and if price is reasonable.
