Try Oporto - São Lázaro

Overall it's a very nice place. Location is great, the terrace is neat, no cold in the bathroom and no loud noises from you-know-what people.

For starters - there was no work opener. People come to Porto to drink wine and walk, so you must be able to open a bottle of wine without the need of improvised tools. Secondly - I understand it's business, but if the people want to check-in earlier, this is bad attitude to charge them additionally for this option. It should be free considering the check-in starts at 15:00 and check-out must be done by 11:00

Its proximity to all the major sites of the city. Clean, good wifi, in a cute neighborhood. Lots of choices for restaurants and bars

Its a double bed, a little small

Location was great. The apartment is good value for money. The host was accomodating and helpful.

The cleanliness is not that great. There was an odd smell (I assume it was because the building is quite old). Also, the boiler or the fridge (I'm not sure) was quite loud and it was sometimes difficult to fall asleep.

The location is perfect. It's close to everything needed. The room size is quite nice. The room has all needed facilities. Comfortable bed and nice bedsheets

If you are booking the ground floor room it will be very loud. If you are a light sleeper you really need the ear plugs. The road is right near the walls and doors. If someone stands near the wall (and people will because there is some cafe nearby) and talk you will hear it like in your room. Noise isolation is basically non existent, you hear people walking on the upper floors as well. The toilet cover lid is unexpectedly annoying it falls on you constantly. Some mold in the shower.
