Borgo Buciardella

We booked Borgo Buciardella for one reasonly, it was half way between Teatro del Silenzio and Pompeii and it had a disabled friendly room. This is what we Irish would call Farnhouse Accomadation, it is set in a beautiful natural enviroment close to Lake Corbara on the river Tiber. The owners son worked in hospatatally in London and returned home when covid struck so he speaks 100% perfect english. The room was 100% perfect for us, parking outside the door, a large roll in shower, very comfortable bed, great Wifi and some very delicious tomatoes in the garden which the owner gave us a handful of. We asked for a Restraunt recommendation and was advised Agriturismo Il Casanova whice is very close by, from here you can admire Lake Corbara and an amazing view over almost all of central Italy, Rocca di Montefiascone, Mount Amiata and the Argentario, three provinces and three regions. Dinner in Agriturismo Il Casanova was Menu del Noche as we would know from Spain but different. It did not have a Menu, we got three appetizers each, a salad to share, pasta with a bolognese sauce, mixed meats, desert, coffee, two bottles of Agua con Gas and two bottles of red wine, really enough food and drink for at least four people for €25 each. The host, Fabrizio was a very welcoming host, he went around and chatted to every table in the restaurant and although his English was limited, he did not pass us by as he could have easily done. We feel so luck for choosing Borgo Buciardella and going for dinner to Agriturismo Il Casanova. GREAT ACCOMADATION & GREAT HOSTS. Could I recommend you put some photos of the shower room on Bookings for other guests with limited mobility.

Ottima l'accoglienza (Antonio) proseguita e per tutto il soggiorno. Monolocale pulito e dotato di molti prodotti per la colazione. Piscina fantastica super sicura e a norma visto quello che sta succedendo. La cosa fantastica il silenzio e il vero relax che si respira. Ottimo anche per la posizione raggiungi tutti i paesi con pochi minuti 20 da Orvieto.

Staff super gentile e disponibile, posizione tranquillissima, comoda per visitare Orvieto e dintorni. Noi ci siamo fermati per spezzare il lungo viaggio da Milano alla Campania. Piscina bellissima, ci siamo veramente rilassati. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente

Vuole essere solo un consiglio, per rendere perfetto un soggiorno in un posto così bello e speciale. Noi abbiamo soggiornato nell' alloggio al piano terra con accesso per disabili. Lo spilt del condizionatore è piuttosto rumoroso, facendo molto caldo, abbiamo dovuto tenerlo acceso tutta la notte e ha fatto fatica a raffreddare, probabilmente è un poco scarico. Nient'altro da aggiungere, per il resto tutto ok.

Frühstück bestand aus eingeschweißter Trockennahrung, Kaffee mit Selbst Zubereitung war dank Eigenleistung gut! Die ländliche Atmosphäre war passend, aber nicht umwerfend. Der Eigentümer war sehr bemüht!

Versprochenes Zimmer/Apartment war durch plötzliche Neubuchungen des Vermieters anderweitig vergeben (schade), es blieb nur noch die ausgebaute Garage übrig. Keine Gartenmöbel, oder Sitzmöglichkeiten, Tür auf oder zu!
