Great staff & nice breakfast, the view was amazing, great location. We liked the vibe in the cave suite and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi! You can see the balloons (from a distance!) by walking up and around the castle, but not really from the hotel itself.
Very humid inside those caves, especially when you use the jacuzzi which is in the bedroom. Running the AC solves this issue but then it does get cold. Not all lights were working and I'm not sure if the thermostat was? Something for in the bathtub would have been nice! We ended up using the body wash.
Lastly, when considering between Goreme and Uchisar. Note that when doing sunrise activities, the taxi will pick up people from Uchisar first, meaning you will have to wake up earlier. We had a rental car which mostly solved this issue and took us to our destinations. For most things in the area, you don't need a rental car if you stay in Goreme. We liked our decision.

The location is fantastic. Our room was beautiful (except for the shower). The breakfast was delicious.
Berfin, on Reception was the best. She was so helpful and kind. We REALLY liked her.
Halit, in the bar was very knowledgeable about Cappadocian wines. Nice guy.
As I said, our room was beautiful but the shower was very bad. Horrible in fact.
The stairs outside were dirty, everything needed a lot of love. Dead plants and broken things just beyond our terrace. Could be so much better with a little care.
