The perfect place to stay near Dubrovnik

It was a great location. Mlini is a brilliant place to stay out of Dubrovnik, a much more local and authentic feel. This accommodation was an excellent location close to the bus stop that takes you easily to Dubrovnik or Cavtat for some visits. The hosts were attentive and lovely, checked in on us when in passing. Extremely clean and tidy and just a lovely place to stay.

Excellent location and great comfort

Location is excellent, it's on top of the sea with great access to the sea level. Restaurants and groceries are around. Magdalena the host made me feel home and was there when I needed her. It felt great.

Lovely place

The apartment was lovely, clean and had everything you could need. Location on road with nearby bus stops and amenities and close proximity to bars, restaurants and the harbour. Host Elena was lovely.

Only thing we weren't aware of, and our fault completely was that payment wasn't taken prior to us going and they wanted cash, which we hadn't taken much of, had we known prior to arrival that it was cash only we would have taken the additional amount.

safe, quiet, family friendly

The apartment is conveniently located, the bus stop is a few minutes away. A bakery and a grocery store are nearby. You can reach the beach in 15 minutes. Safe and quiet town. There are cafes and bars on the beach. A path to walk. Cozy, quiet town. The hostess Magdalena is caring, answers the questions, helped with the arrival at the airport. The apartment is cozy, the bedding is perfectly clean, comfortable bed, pillows. The air conditioning system works quickly, quietly, comfortably. Ideal cleanliness, comfort, safety.

Lovely apartment and wonderful hosts

The location was a short distance from the beaches, and most of the bars & places to eat. Having said that. Everything was down the steps or a slightly longer winding road. But we knew this when booking. And it was our choice to choose a property away from the hustle and bustle. There was a bakery and small supermarket just yards away which was a bonus.

Nothing wrong with the apartment at all. The road outside was the only slight issue. Not so much at night. But because the apartment is located on a sweeping S bend. You had keep your concentration when crossing. If your patient, and mobile then you can cross, no problem.

1. The host and her family are very friendly. Magdalena welcomed us with homemade sweets, then treated us fruits and veggies from their garden. We felt as dear guests. Magdalena is always in touch (in person or via WhatsApp). Any request is fulfilled seamlessly by fairy Magdalena :) And no need to ask twice! 2. Cleanliness! The apartment is spotless. Linen and towels are washed thoroughly, no spots, no nasty hair or anything. 3. Size of the apartment. It’s spacious, plenty of place. It has a balcony, despite boing situated by a road, balcony is hidden behind bushes and trees, so it feels quite hidden. 4. Amenities. There are 2 conditioners, both are powerful and quickly cool the apartment. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking, new dish sponge is provided (very thoughtful!). There are different lightning options (high/low). Good mattress. Huge boiler, allows whole family to shower in a row. 5. Location. Walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants.

It would be great if the apartment had washing machine. Crossing the street to get to the beach is problematic, the traffic is quite busy. Hopefully, the authorities will create a crosswalk.

Great place with a great location and polite family

Owners were very polite and kind, and even drove us to the airport when our taxi did not arrive. Spacious for the price with a good kitchen and a good location to get to the beach

A little noisy from the near road but if you close the window over the night it’s ok and also you must be careful when you cross the street.

Super séjour, je recommande ! (sauf pour ceux au sommeil léger peut-être)

La propreté, l’espace, la proximité avec la plage et autres établissements (supermarché, boulangerie, super resto), le lit confortable, la cuisine, et enfin la propriétaire très agréable et prompte.

Le bruit des voitures la nuit, pas de volet obscurcissant donc lumière dès 7-8h, la traversée de la route qui peut être dangereuse (pas de passage piéton)

Apartman je iznimno prostran sa pravom kuhinjom i velikom sobom. 2 klima uređaja. Velika terasa za sušenje ručnika. Iznimno ljubazni domaćini. Parking je u sklopu objekta. Blizina trgovine i pekare koja je na 50-100 m udaljenosti.

Lokacija nije toliko loša no najteže je prijeći magistralu i do plaže je dosta strmo no to je tako u tome kraju.

Apartamento encantador

Nos gustó todo la verdad! La propietaria se aloja en el piso de arriba y cualquier cosa esta dispuesta a ayudar. Todas las preguntas le escribimos por el chat y contestó en seguida. Muy amable y muy agradable. Muy bien ubicado, tiene cerca supermercados y una panaderia. Además puedes ir andando a la playa y es precioso el sitio. El apartamento cuenta con todas las comodidades: microondas, vitrocerámica, horno, utensilios de cocina, aire acondicionado, toallas, nevera, Wi-Fi, parking gratis, etc. La cama muy cómoda también. Tiene justo en frente una carretera principal pero al cerrar la ventana no se escucha casi nada. Esta a 15min en coche de Dubrovnik pero la propietaria nos aconsejó ir en un bus ya que los parkings de Dubrovnik rondan de los 4€/hora hasta 17h/hora. Asi que cogimos el bus que estaba a 3min andando del apartamento. El billete sencillo son 2.9€ y puedes pagar con tarjeta. Hay que decir, que los horarios del bus colgados en la parada, no son muy fieles. Siempre tuvimos que esperar bastante y hasta otros pasajeros nos comentaron lo mismo.

Por decir algo, pero he visto que es algo común en todos los apartamentos que hemos estado en Croacia, es que no tienen gel de ducha ni shampoo. Al final tuvimos que comprar uno para los días que estuvimos. Tampoco tienen aceite ni sal, por lo que ya tienes que mirar de comprar alguna botellita pequeña pero nosotros no encontramos, y las que vimos eran muy caras. Así que, teníamos que pensar los menús en función de esto. Pero esto es algo prescindible. El apartamento esta muy bien! Lo guardamos en favoritos.
