Our stay at unembeza boutique Lodge in Hoedspruit was truly exceptional. The lodge offers a perfect blend of comfort, tranquility, and an authentic bush experience. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The game drives were unforgettable, with knowledgeable guides who made every safari exciting and informative. Seeing wildlife up close in such a stunning setting was an incredible experience.

The lodge is situated in a fantastic location, surrounded by wildlife, which provides a wonderful safari experience. The rooms and bed linens were clean and comfortable, contributing to a pleasant stay.

The breakfast experience was quite disappointing. The taste was lacking, the presentation was unappealing, and it seemed to be prepared without much thought. and there was limited variety considering the cost. I believe it would be beneficial for them to hire a chef who truly enjoys cooking, as this passion can significantly enhance the dining experience for customers. Moreover , some dishes were missing ingredients that were listed on the menu. Due to the unsatisfactory breakfast, we felt the need to explore other restaurants outside the lodge, which can be inconvenient, especially when one is seeking relaxation within the premises. Regarding room service, the towels had an unpleasant odor and seemed like they were not changed as promised. There should be more attention to housekeeping, perhaps by assigning a monitor to ensure standards are upheld. Using white towels could also help in maintaining cleanliness, along with investing in a dedicated chef for the kitchen.
