    Worth every cent! A great place to have a getaway. Close to Kruger. Room very clean,friendly staff and good food. Nice treat!

    Front desk staff were very helpful with transportation advice as well as ensuring we had packed breakfasts when on early morning safaris. Sit down breakfasts and dinners were always well prepared and varied -looked forward to these daily. Resturant was open air (no insects or bugs) with decent view. Garden rooms was more than clean and adequate with balcony facing small courtyard type garden and other hotel wing. Quiet, safe, not overly luxurious but just right.

    Arrived and discovered the toilet was not clean. Urine stains all around the bowl. As we were off on a sunset drive I asked the staff to either clean the room, or move our stuff to another room while we we out. They 'cleaned' the room... Got back today, and the room is crawling with ants. Disgusting. I've stayed at this lodge before (2.5 years ago) so ignored the negative reviews. Unfortunately I don't know what's happened, but the reviews are correct - place has detiorated beyond recognition, and I would never boo to stay here again. A shame, as it used to be so good
