Ren-Hana Kundasang

At RM126, the accommodation offers good value for its convenient location in Kundasang town. The beds were neatly arranged, and the room, bathroom and balcony were clean. The water heater worked well, and the Qiblat direction marker was appreciated. The balcony overlooks the road, although the surrounding vegetation needs tidying.

The musty smell in the room was the main concern and needs prompt attention. Please address the source of the odour and improve ventilation. A room freshener would also help once the underlying issue is resolved. Lighting and Wi-Fi need improvement. With only one light, the room felt dim, while the complimentary Wi-Fi signal was weak. Adding a television and repainting the walls to complement the flooring would improve the room’s comfort and appearance. Door security and noise control also need attention. The door relied only on a doorknob lock; an additional internal latch would provide greater peace of mind. In our lower-floor room, noise from upstairs was clearly audible through the wooden structure. Better sound insulation would make the stay more comfortable.

The location which oversees the mountain and the spaciousness of the home unit I chose.

The unit is too far at the bottom of the cliff and occupants need to cautiously go up and down a very steep hilly staircase which requires extra attention

Location not far from Desa.

Requested twin bed, got queen bed instead. Toilet with stagnant water.
