Forest Way Home Sepilok Sandakan

Great location for walking to sanctuaries and RDC. Great communication both before and during our stay from host. Really appreciated having filtered water available.

Our hosts care for lots of rescued cats. We love cats but unfortunately, although the room didn’t, the rest of the property had a distinctive cat litter odour which may be off putting for some.

Quiet location, close to orangutan and sun bear sanctuaries, as well as RDC. Lovely hosts who were very helpful and welcoming. Very clean and comfortable.

Sherine et Jeffrey sont des hôtes adorables et très accueillants, on se sent vraiment comme à la maison. Jeffrey est un chef hors pair qui vous régalera avec ses petits plats si vous le souhaitez. Sherine est tres réactive et réponds à toutes vos questions via whatsapp très vite et cherche à vous faciliter votre arrivée au maximum, quitte même à aller vous récupérer quelque part. Tous les 2 sont aussi pleins de ressources sur les visites à faire dans la region, les points d'attention à avoir. Si vous leur demandez, ils vous partageront beaucoup ! La chambre était parfaite, rien à dire, lits confortables, climatisation et ventilation tout neuf, eau chaude tout le temps, très propre ! Un très bon rapport qualité prix pour Sepilok. De plus, les principaux spots sont accessibles à pied ou via un grab facilement. Bonus pour nous : quelques chats vivent là ainsi que 2 chiens ! Nous n'hésiterons à revenir si l'occasion se présente ! C'est un lieu qui vous donne envie d'allonger votre séjour à Sepilok !

Location is perfect for seeing Sepilok. But the hosts are the best part of the stay. We were welcomed at every corner and they always took pains to help us. We really loved their Pandan drink, and everything about our stay was lovely.
