Alles bestens, Sherine und ihr Mann sind sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer ist in Ordnung. Fussläufig sind der RDC und Sepilok Highlights erreichbar.

-property is a 15 minute walk to Rainforest discovery centre, orangutang conservation and sun bear conservation. Only reason really to stay in the area. (You can do this all in 1 day) -access to a kitchen with hot water etc. so you can prepare or keep food. -basic, but fine for 1 night. -got to be ok with 2 dogs who bark a lot. -property has AC and hot water

Cleaning standards were lacking especially in the bathroom. The bathroom mat has a dead bug on it and did not look changed in sometime considering no shoes allowed inside the property. It looked dirty. Bugs and red ants covering the bathroom sink on arrival. Like not a few loads. The actual bedroom seemed clean, but the bathroom was not ideal. Needed more attention before check in. Was not an issue but not massive food options in the area. You can eat in the RDC or conversations which is cheap and good food. Also grab delivery has loads of options but you got to eat outside as no food in the rooms. (The owner does supply 1 basic option of food for each meal time, but we did not try)

Staying at Forest Way Home felt just like being at home. The place is super cozy and comfortable, and the location is ideal—just a few minutes by Grab from the Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, the Sun Bear Conservation Centre, and the Rainforest Discovery Centre. A special thanks to Sherine, who made our trip so much easier and special! She was amazing from arrival to checkout—always available, friendly, and genuinely caring. She let us leave our luggage at her place while we went on our Kinabatangan river tour, which was a huge help, and gave us great recommendations for local supermarkets and where to find pharmacy supplies. Sherine is truly a fantastic host who goes above and beyond for her guests. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Absolutely recommended!
