We liked the fact that it was a small (@12 rooms), family run hotel. The room, albeit a little on the small side (although adequate) and ensuite were spotlessly clean and the linen and towels were changed every day. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. The location was great for exploring National Park, but you do need a car. Re. parking, you can park next to the hotel or at the end of the lane (2 minute walk back). The owners were very nice and welcoming. There were also a couple of quite decent restaurants in town.
We visited in the "shoulder season" (September) so the hotel and the surrounding area was pretty quiet. However, this may not be the case during the Summer as there is a water park close-by and the whole area is geared up for water sports. Even so, you'll probably hear a few jet-skis and party boats at the weekend, and motorbikers testing how fast and loudly they can race their bikes across the bridges during the night!

Perfect location. Loved the easy access to the private beach. Easy walking to restaurants and cafes. Lovely terraced area with beautiful view for breakfast.
Room was a little small and tired but good value for money.

Location is gorgeous, access to lake is easy
You can hear every sound made by all the guests, it is noisy and it was hard to sleep for the noise early morning or late at night.
