The location is great with cheap buses into town every 15min and markets with food close by. Was also good to have a pool on the roof to cool off in the middle of the day when no one else was there. Bottled water and coffee sachets are provided and its very useful to have a fridge in the room, but there is no microwave. I also liked the ability to do laundry there and it was easy to purchase the coupons needed from the reception desk.

I have stayed here twice in the last few years and was expecting it to have had a little renovation (at least a coat of paint) in the last 4 years. It is looking pretty run down in the rooms now, and needs the curtains fixed etc. Small jobs that make a lot of difference. There are other accommodations nearby that are cheaper and now in better condition.

The location was quieter for Chinese New Year than George Town The view of the mosque & bay were delightful. We had a great view of the fireworks

It was hard to find breakfast as the restaurant was closed. The decor was in desperate need of an uplift. The pool could do with some more loungers as there were only 2!
