We loved the apartment and the little town Gouarec.

The apartment was located in the middle of the town, very close to the little shop, a bakery, the restaurants and the canal. The host let us use the garage to safely store our bikes. The host prepared the welcome pack for us and an emergency supply box for dinner, in case the shop and restaurants would be closed on our arrival. We didn't need to use it as a little creperie nearby was open, but we loved this idea.

It was lovely

The apartment was lovely, it had everything you needed for a self catering holiday!

The only thing was that,, there was no main window in the double bedroom, only a skylight in an adjoining section of the bedroom, so it was quite, but, there is nothing that the owners can do, due to the layout of the building

Great hosts, very helpful. We find it a great idea that they even planned emergency food box when in need. Creative! Thank you for the nice stay. The beds are very conformable Location good for bicycling, everything around the corner.

Everything was very good for the price! Only few advises, would suggest to put a little hook on the windows, so that no accidents could happen with children. The decor is a little bit out dated, but also this is taste depended. The ventilation pipe sticking out at the cooking place is not so nice looking/hygienic. Small finishing touches. Would make it absolutely lovely.

It was as good as the two other time I stayed there and was the reason I was very happy to be able to stay there again.

Ideal for cyclists

Ideal for cyclists. Very comfortable, spacious, clean self contained apartment with all mod cons. Little additions that were most appreciated like books, games and CDs in various languages. Accommodation is in a central location in an idyllic traditional french town on the Nantes to Brest canal. Restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Hosts were very happy to provide a secure location for storage and charging of our electric bikes. Local amenities including a boulangerie just across the road for fresh croissants. Hosts kindly left fresh milk, butter and jam in the fridge and provided tea and coffee. Hosts were very helpful and supportive when telephoned when I had a problem accessing my internet to get key code

Had difficulty with using the dvd player but was probably due to my dyslexia

We were in the top apartment with steep, narrow stairs. Not a problem for us and we did know in advance.

Exceptional

this location was perfect for what I needed. Adrian and Veronica thought of everything. one of the best things was having an extension cord with multiple outlets conveniently located by the side of the bed. I like to keep my iPhone and iPad with me at night and they always need charging. I also use a CPAP machine to sleep as I have apnea and having an out.et close by the bed I s a godsend. I also got a kick out of the loo. never seen one like it before! a conversation piece, to say the least.

The apartment was unbelievably well equipped and stocked with nice little extras. It was beautifully decorated and very comfy.

A very small thing was the creaking of the floors from the occupant of the flat above

Superb

It was a one night stop during our bike trip and the hosts provided an « emergency » box of food if all the stores were closed on arrival. Out of our several bike stops it was by far the best!

Very steep staircase to the room and no fire escape. Impossible for a man to use the toilet without sitting due to the sloping roof.

Logement cosy sous toit, parfait du point de vue de la propreté, décoration neuve et style anglais, hôtes formidables, endroit très paisible, possibilités de garer les vélos dans une cave et à 15 minutes en voiture du lac de Guerledan. Équipement complet dans le logement (lave vaisselle, lave linge) et un garage pour garer ses vélos. Des hôtes aux petits soins : Kit de survie alimentaire, beurre et lait au frigo, du thé anglais... Logement proche du canal, ce qui est très pratique lorsqu'on est cycliste

Très charmant appartement au calme et super bien équipé !

La déco, les petites attentions à l'arrivée : petite lumière allumée car on arrivait tard dans nuit, nourriture à cuisiner (moyennant quelques euros) en cas de magasins fermés, de quoi petit-déjeuner (thé, café en poudre ou soluble, sucre, madeleine, biscuits), dan le frigo un petit pot de confiture, une petite bouteille de lait, et tout le nécessaire quotidien ( gel douche, torchons, liquide vaisselle, éponges,). Tout simplement parfait !
