Agriturismo Maloura

We needed a place to stay over between the Bologna airport and our home in Le Marche. Agriturismo Maloura was the perfect spot. It is so beautiful and peaceful there, and the owners could not have been more welcoming. We arrived a little early but our room was ready, and we dropped our suitcases and went outside. We sat outside and asked about local restaurants for lunch. But the owner asked if we would like a bowl of homemade pasta instead. Of course we would! We eventually caught some sleep and then went out for dinner. The owners supplied us with a list of local restaurants, and the one we chose was excellent. After a good night's sleep, we had breakfast out on the portico, with homemade pastries, jams and delicious coffee. An incredible experience in a beautiful, peaceful place with a wonderful family. We will be back there again.

Only one glitch - Booking.com says that the price of breakfast was included, but we were charged 40 euro for it (I didn't think to dispute it since I wasn't near a computer and couldn't double-check).

Just great family run bed and breakfast. Staff couldn’t do enough for us in spite of the language barrier. We were lucky that there was a German couple who had the lingua franca and helped us and the staff to understand each other. Brush up on your Italian and go there. Best night sleep too.
