Not recommended, Wimbach is full of real houses in better condition.
The hosts were nice people, but unfortunately the accommodation advertisement did not accurately describe the current situation.
The advertisement stated ‘superior two-bedroom apartment,’ but in reality it was the lower part of a private house. We booked two rooms and they only wanted to give us one. In the end, they agreed to give us the second one. The smell of damp was evident and access to the accommodation was somewhat complicated, via the side of the house, with poor lighting. Unfortunately, we couldn't provide any more details because we decided to leave for another accommodation right away, leaving the keys in the door because it was very late when we made this decision. After discussing it with both the intermediary and Booking, they consider that no refund is necessary, so it is our obligation to make this clear in as many places as possible so that it does not happen to other people.

Nice and clean two bedroom apartment. Very complete kitchen and everything was spotlessly clean. Great terrace, beautiful view from the apartment and garden. Good starting point for a nice walk. Friendly owners who respect your privacy. If we are in the area again we would be happy to come back. Highly recommended!

Accommodation and location was beautiful.
The hosts did not state in the booking that they lived in the same accommodation just on the other side of a glass door so they could see in the hallway opposite the bathroom at any point. This should be stated because it’s uncomfortable at times.

Net en rustig gelegen vakantiehuis
Net en schoon apartment. Handdoeken fris klaargehangen voor direct gebruik op de badkamer. Warm welkom, verse bloemen op tafel en lekkere koekjes.
Beperkt keukengerei, (klinkt zwaar maar daarmee missen wij alleen een spatel en een 2de koekenpan. Vooral als je door de kleine niet kunt uit eten in het dorp) verder compleet en zeer netjes.
