Everything. It was so well kept and clean. I liked that we had to put slippers on in the hall, it made the whole property feel very clean. The bathroom was very spacious and the kitchen area was lovely. The bedroom was just the right size and very comfy beds.

Nothing, everything was good.

They are overly worried if you behave properly…

The hotel was o the Riverbank. And was very comfortable.

The room was nice and spacious with comfy beds, the other guests were nice and the shared bathroom was clean. A good distance from the centre, with easy accessible public transport to places around the area. Good facilities in the kitchen allowed us to make our own meals to save money, although no oven so keep that in mind (it didn’t state it in the facility list but we presumed there would be one, so our fault really!).

However, there are cameras EVERYWHERE and they are always watching. They messaged us with a heads up regarding the rules when using the kitchen when we accidentally opened a private drawer (presumably after watching us on the cameras), which is fair enough as the rules are stated pre booking. However this made us feel uneasy and uncomfortable in shared areas and the fact there are cameras isn’t specified on booking.com until after you’ve booked. On our last night we had cooked and were eating. A lady who we had never met came and shouted at us to come in the kitchen (whilst we were eating) and aggressively shouted at us to clean - shouting ‘WHAT IS THIS’ ‘SHAME ON YOU’ whilst throwing paper towels around the kitchen. As young girls who were not from Slovenia and the only ones in the kitchen at the time this made us feel insulted, patronised and condescended. We thought it was quite normal to eat and then clean the dishes as the food would get cold, and there was no one else waiting to cook which would’ve changed the circumstances. We understand that other guests may want to use the pans and surrounding area however we still had food in the pan to eat and if someone else came wanting to use the pans we would have happily cleaned up straight away for them. Another issue was the blinds in the bathroom, there was no instruction on how to use them which left us slightly confused. The pictures pre booking also make it seem as if each room has a balcony overlooking the river however it is a shared balcony and we ended up with a street view. The man who we presumed is the owner was nice and came to the kitchen to check up on us after the woman shouted. Regardless of what they choose to respond to this review, there are many similar reviews which isn’t a coincidence. But don’t let this review put you off staying in Ljubljana as it was a great city with amazing natural beauty and a lot to do around.
