Mosquitos at night, and also rooms need fun at night because of hotness.

it’s in a very good location and the security is very good the staff are also very good people and it’s very close to the beach resturants and other facilities as well.

just for the wifi is not that strong in the rooms

The hostel is nice, sitting by the pool is cozy, and my room was good for the price I paid. The hostel is also always secured, if you need to go for a walk because it's inside a village staff would offer to walk with you so that you are safe and would stop boda boda for you if needed. My check in was also fast and I had a towel in my room.

Unfortunately, I would have rated my stay higher had it not been for the theft I experienced which was protected by the hotel staff. When I was making coffee on my pre-last morning (having already been at the place for a week) I closed my room but didn't put the padlock. someone entered my room and stole $200 from my wallet which had $300. The staff were reluctant to check CC TV and gaslit me by saying that no one is staying on that side but me even though there were other people there on that same side and staying in the room infront and next to me, they also blamed me for not putting the padlock on my room door and told me you don't know any guest can go in - When I reported the incident I told a different amount, but during the police calls Dorothy mentioned $200 which I never mentioned at any point of my complaint. I threatened to call the police and did call the police eventually and that was when my money was returned to me slid under the room's door step, in the morning Dorothy asked me "Did you get your money?" with sarcasm. I am of course sad to have gone through that experience especially as a female solo traveller and in a country where I had felt very safe. But you live and learn.
