Spacious and well decorated apartment in the old town

Very spacious and well decorated apartment in the old town, all on one floor, no stairs. Two ensuite rooms and the third room had bathroom just outside. All bathrooms have showers! Host get permission for our car to drive into the ZTL and parked in their own carpark.

Wifi could be received only in part of the house, basically just the master bedroom and the living room. Luckily, mobile reception is good in all area. Because the breakfast is served, the earliest you can start the day is probably 9am, unless you give up the breakfast. The turn into the carpark is a bit tight if you have a large car. We have a Peugeot 3008 and just manage to do it with care. As Google map cannot give guidance in the old town, we need to meet the host somewhere and then follow her car into the old town.

The place is a true gem! the very. Huge, beautifully appointed house in the middle of Gubbio historical center with a private garage. You cannot do any better! Great beds, very clean. And the garden is something out of a dream! Warm and personable host Elena came every morning to make breakfast for us. This is absolutely one of a kind house for vacation in Umbria! And the price is very reasonable

Hot water pressure was not very strong. Maybe water heater could use a repair or replacement

A beautiful old house in the centre of the town, including a garden.

The property is very close to the centre of the Centro Storico and is itself in a very old building. To the rear is a garden full of birdsong, so it is possible to joy being outdoors even in the heat of the day. Arrival arrangements were made with Federica ahead of our stay. During our stay we were wonderfully looked after by her cousin Elena who met us off the little bus and welcomed us to the property. She also made breakfast for us each morning and taught us how to use a Bialetti!

Exceptional Elena in Gubbio!

Arrangements and communication with the host was brilliant from before we even arrived. Friendly, informative and helpful. We were met in a central location and guided directly to our ample parking garage just next door to the accommodation. Elena hosted us with a wonderful breakfast each morning and we left Gubbio with a new friend! The house is spacious and comfortable, offering every amenity. Fresh towels, extra blankets, hairdryers & shower gel. Feels like a home away from home, beautifully decorated in authentic Italian style with memorabilia and books of regional relevance. Elena also offered additional information and contacts about shops, restaurants and activities in and around Gubbio. Thank you Vescovado 7 - we will be back!

5 Stars Experience

The house and garden are gorgeous. The house style is absolutely unique and full of art, maps, collections, and interesting books. House location is excellent. It's close to all kind of businesses and Gubbio's main attractions, but still far from the noise and crowds. The owner is as exquisite as her house. SIG.ra Federica is so gentle and very attentive to her clients desires. She even call us during our struggles to get there to check if we were safe. Her team, Ms. Elena, Ana & Francesca, went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Unforgettable experience! 5 stars

To drive the car we rented in the historic area! It was a big challenge during holidays. There's nothing I didn't like about the house and my lovely hosts.

Beautiful apartment in beautiful Gubbio

Just wow! Starting from the beginning till the end the owners were on top. They met us, showed the apartment and were on hold during all our holiday in their house. The apartment is very spacious, beautifully decorated and has the garden and a good location with the private parking place. Highly recommended!

Stunning apartment in the heart of Gubbio

This apartment was spectacular! It had 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large living room, large dining room, fully functional kitchen (oven, stovetop, fridge, sink, pots, cutlery, etc), it had a massive private garden and the location was right in the centre of the historic old city. The communication for check-in and all other needs was smooth and easy. Our breakfast was prepared and served to us by Elena. The accommodation was so large that this service was unobtrusive and very comfortable. I highly recommend this apartment.

Everything was perfect. Spotless clean. Delightful hosts Frederica and Elena. Very comfortable with beautiful furnishings. Great location near the Piazza Grande and all the shops. Terrific communication before arrival. Best value for the money. Will be back again for sure. Gubbio is a gorgeous medieval city very well preserved and maintained.

a gem of a place

The home was fantastic, so we'll equipped and huge. Breakfast was prepared in house with so plentiful. Garage was large and safe. It was nice to meet the host at the town square and show us the way into the restricted zone.

La casa è stupenda! Siamo stati ospiti per capodanno e la proprietaria ci ha fatto trovare tutto l'occorrente per apparecchiare una bella tavola da cenone, un ottimo panettone artigianale e una crostata deliziosa per la mattina successiva. Su booking non è specificato, ma si tratta di un bed & breakfast per cui c'è una persona che ogni mattina prepara la colazione, nel nostro caso Virginia, una ragazza gentilissima che ci ha anche aiutato con i bagagli e si è resa disponibile per tutto. Inoltre l'appartamento è ubicato in una posizione strategica, a due passi da tutto, e grazie alle preziose indicazioni della signora Federica è stato facile parcheggiare vicino (5 minuti a piedi, parcheggio della funivia). Grazie mille! I nostri bimbi sono stati benissimo e anche noi!

Peccato non aver potuto utilizzare il camino e il parcheggio sotto casa, per motivi non imputabili alla proprietà. Solo un appunto, la sala da pranzo era un po' fredda nonostante termosifoni e stufetta, ma c'è da dire che fuori c'erano -2 gradi.

Magnifique appartement avec jardin privatif dans le cœur historique de Gubbio

L’appartement est un bijou d’histoire et d’esthétique niché au cœur de la vieille ville. Très spacieux, parfait pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. L’accueil et le petit déjeuner étaient impeccable. Nous reviendrons ! Merci pour tout

Malgré un appartement très spacieux avec jardin, je ne recommande pas cet appartement pour des familles avec enfants en bas âge (moins de 4 ans) car serait difficile d’accès avec une poussette. Situé au centre de la ville dans le centre historique, l’accès mérite un petit peu d’effort ☺️

Struttura spettacolare in pieno centro a Gubbio

A due passi da piazza grande e dal palazzo dei Consoli, nel cuore di Gubbio ma in posizione silenziosa e fuori dal "passaggio" turistico, ci accoglie un appartamento ampio e dotato di un incantevole giardino privato e gestito in maniera eccezionale dalle gentilissime Federica e Elena. Un oasi di pace e silenzio dove, a metà giugno, nonostante i 35 gradi esterni durante il giorno, in casa sembrava ci fosse l'aria condizionata e la sera si è dormito con il copriletto: spettacolo! Non ci si può perdere questo gioiello, noi torneremo sicuramente.

L'unica "problematica" che si potrebbe riscontrare è la rampa per salire da via xx settembre allo slargo del Vescovado che potrebbe creare problemi a persone con scarsa mobilità ma in un borgo medievale è il minore dei mali.

Bell'appartamento in centro a gubbio! La proprietaria e la signora che ci hanno accolti sono davvero persone splendide, accoglienti semplici e allo stesso tempo discrete. La disponibilità di avere un posto auto coperto è stata davvero una cosa gradita e soprattutto utile. La colazione ottima, non mancava davvero nulla. Il giardino appena manutentato davvero un angolino di paradiso.

L'unica pecca è stata forse la doccia che serviva la nostra camera. Purtroppo l'acqua diventava solo dopo molto tempo tiepida da consentirci di fare la doccia quasi serenamente.

Consigliatissimo!

I miei genitori (e gli amici) si sono trovati benissimo. Mi hanno proprio detto "il casolare è talmente bello che devi vederlo, non ci sono parole" Oltre ovviamente alla costante comunicazione con la proprietaria, la sua messa a disposizione per portare i bagagli, per dare consigli utili su ogni aspetto della vacanza, alla super colazione, camere silenziose. Riferiscono sia stato tutto assolutamente perfetto
