An amazing place, with staff who set out to help enhance your visit right from the start - even before you arrive, sending information about what is available and making you feel welcome. Breathtaking views over hillsides and forests from all the buildings, in particular the aerial walkway through the tree canopy and viewing platform at the entrance to the site (where the 'welcome ceremony' takes place), and the room itself. All buildings are skilfully designed to blend in to the landscape and the main Reception/restaurants building is contemporary and striking in its design. Our Forest Cottage was built partly on stilts over the hillside, was a substantial size with end wall glazed and doors to the balcony. You could just sit there relaxing all day, but there are also activities such as morning bird walks, coffee tasting, yoga, both Western and Ayurvedic spa treatments etc, and swimming pool. Meals are buffet style but with staff to serve some items to the table and some foods to order. Good quality dishes and a strict policy of no processed foods, all sauces/jams etc home made. Also to reduce food waste if guests overfill plates and leave some uneaten, it is weighed and charged to the guest, the money going to a charity which feeds hungry children. It's an eco resort which uses no plastic bottles and recycles everything it can including water and sewage. Although it's a hilly site the main areas don't have too many steep ups and downs, and there is a buggy service for people with less mobility.

The information within the room could have been more detailed, in particular the timings of restaurants which didn't seem to have been sent with the other prior info and I couldn't find on hotel's own website. The internal phone had buttons for speed dial to Reception, Housekeeping, the Spa etc but gave continuous engaged signals - it was only when we went to Reception physically (which we walked, as we hadn't been able to get through to request a buggy transfer) that they told us a number to dial instead. Perhaps this info could be added to the phone?

Location was fantastic.

The villas that we stayed in was old, need renovation. The lock was broken. Bathroom had water clogging problem in the shower area, I complained and they sent their person 2 times, but couldn’t solve the problem. The food menu lacked variety.
