The hospitality from Binu and Leyha was exceptional, they went out of their way to make us feel at home, cooked amazing food and brought us deliciously spiced tea/coffee in the morning and afternoon. It was the best food we ate from our 2 month trip in Karnataka/Kerela, we had almost every meal with them, catered to my fussy travel buddy. The room is fantastic, especially the balcony and views into the jungle, we saw so many animals there - more than on the Periyar Reserve, and spent many hours just relaxing on the balcony. Binu loved the wildlife and would come find us when he spotted anything interesting. He was also extremely interesting to talk to about yoga, ayreveda and spiritual practice, he's a genuinely kind soul. We booked 2 nights and stayed 7. The local area is great to walk around, the people are so friendly, there are many small shops, for tea/ice creams and Binu was happy to (insisted on) driving us into town, or to the spice farm, or national park. Theres a couple of viewpoints to walk to also. They also have 4 lovely cats and 6kittens during our stay, which we cuddled regularly! Staying here, eating homecooked nurishing food, and being in nature was a genuine highlight of our travels in Kerela!
