A welcoming and friendly stay. Exactly what we needed for our overnight stay.,

Independent accommodation at the end of of the garden. Very quiet area and secure parking. The breakfast was delicious with home made bread, jams and yoghurt. A fresh fruit salad, orange juice, tea and coffee were all part of the breakfast offering. Very welcoming and friendly hosts. They kindly booked us into a local restaurant 10mins walk away which didn’t disappoint. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Self-built accommodation; home grown breakfast; friendly helpful hosts!

"Monsieur" greeted us on arrival and showed us to our room - in a little self-built building at the end of his amazing vegetable garden. The (Squirrel) room was simple but had everything we needed. It was very hot when we visited but the room was cool. Comfy bed with sheet and blanket so you could still be covered with just the sheet, even in the heat! Great shower! Parking was on the drive, with electric gates. Breakfast was served on the terrace - fruit, homemade bread, jams, yoghurt and local cheese, with freshly squeezed orange juice, tea or coffee - fantastic! It's a residential area, but really tranquil and quiet. Monsieur and Madame were both very friendly and helpful, and lovely hosts. Thank you for a great stay!

There's no TV in the room, if that matters to you - it didn't to us. We chose to walk into the centre of Troyes, after a long day in the car. It took about 40 minutes, but was a good way to get a "feel" for the town.

An ideal place to stop en route- or longer if visiting Troyes. Comfortable bed and lovely breakfast.

Stayed for one night en route to Lyon. Ideal for us. Very welcoming hosts. Room was basic but had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and so quiet that we slept really well. Free Wi-Fi. Parking in front drive- gates locked. Lovely breakfast-everything home made. Would stay here again if travelling in the area

I liked the fact that the owner had himself built such a charming and comfortable cottage at the bottom of his garden, designed to look like a Victorian workman’s house, but much more comfortable inside.

Our host made us feel so welcome and relaxed in his lovely home.

It’s a charming, peaceful gîte, designed and built in the garden by the owners with the comfort of their guests in mind. I loved every little thoughtful detail. To sit on the terrace eating a breakfast of local produce, homemade jams, bread and muffins, in such a pretty garden, was a joy. We will definitely return.

The breakfast was lovely - many elements home made & freshly cooked by Dominique. Our accommodation that was hand built by Michel is reached through his fabulous garden & everything is a credit to him. Our hosts are warm & hospitable & we enjoyed our stay at their facility

Warm welcome at this charming b&b (two rooms built in the garden by the owner). Excellent breakfast with lots of home-made jam and other goodies. Secure parking if you are on the way home from France with wine! Centre of Troyes is a 5-10 minute drive and beautiful.

Fantastic host; good location.

Quiet, roomy and clean. Out host was knowledgeable about the area and its history. breakfast was very good, with home made yoghurt, bread, pastries and a huge selection of jams. there was also fresh fruit, most of which had been grown by the host.

Would happily stay again

Two rooms in a summer house at the bottom of the garden. Very quiet night! I really liked the breakfast which is homemade bread, jam, and yogurt with local fruit, honey, and cheese. Simple but very tasty and a great start to the day. Good size bathroom with a good shower.

The toilet was a bit dirty (strange as the rest of the room/bathroom seemed very clean).

Delightful B&B in quiet location.

This Chambre d'hote was a slightly unexpected gem, a delightful little brick bungalow at the bottom of the owner's garden housing 2 spacious suites, each with a huge bed and very smart bathroom. The breakfast room was bright and sunny and the breakfast was fab - homemade bread, homemade jams, fruit salad, homemade yoghurt and blackcurrant muffins and local cheese - wonderful. Our host was also lovely, and we only wish our French was better. Secure parking behind locked gates on the property. If we visit beautiful Troyes again we'd certainly wish to stay here.

Fantastic hosts. Extremely welcoming and friendly. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Really quiet, so a great night's sleep Breakfast was delicious, all homemade. Fig jam was especially good. Great location, not far from the autoroute. A little gem!

Very nicely built house and room. Clean and quiet. Nice garden. Secure parking. Easy drive to beautiful Troyes town center. Very friendly and knowledgeable, even entertaining hosts. Excellent breakfast.

Exzellentes B&B in der Vorstadt.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Sehr hübsches Zimmer im Gartenhaus, geräumig, mindestens 3,5m hoch. Hochwertige Ausstattung. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Sehr gutes Frühstück, selbst gemachtes Brot und Marmeladen, exquisiter Käse. Kontakt zum Gastgeber. Parkplatz im Vorgarten. Angemessener Preis.

Die Lage. Laut Google 45 Minuten Fahrt mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Vielleicht gibt es da schnellere Verbindungen. Ich nahm das Auto und fand in etwa 20 Minuten einen zentralen Parkplatz, wahrscheinlich Glück am Freitag Abend. Normalerweise würde ich für die Lage bei der Bewertung 1 Punkt abziehen, aber die Unterkunft gefiel mir so sehr, dass ich trotzdem 10 Punkte vergebe. Ich würde mich freuen, wieder kommen zu können!
