I stayed with Kedak and Balik at their home for 14 nights. They were so welcoming, warm and friendly. I enjoyed chatting with them every day and exploring the island on a day tour with Balik. They were so helpful with lots of advice on local amenities. I had been a little nervous travelling to Asia as a solo female traveller but Kedak met me on the street with a hug and I immediately felt safe. A lovely stay with lovely people. The property was just off Jalan Hanoman, easy walking distance to everything (6 min Coco Supermarket, 10 min Yoga Barn, 2 min Hanoman St with coffee shops and restaurants).
The bathroom was a little old but everything else was good

The family is absolutely amazing! They helped us organize a cooking class (must do!! It was amazing) and a super fun ATV tour driving us there and back and also taking us to a coffee and tea farm on the way! The breakfast was delicious and location was perfect. Right off of one of the main strips but down an alley so it wasn’t noisy. The home stay was basically in a temple/family compound which was so cool! We would definitely recommend!
Not the best bathroom but it did the job!

THE LOCATION IS GREAT THE BALINESE STYLE HOUSING IS COOL
THE SHOWER DIDNT WORK AT FIRST THEN THEY FIXED IT BUT IT STILL TOOK 5-7 MINS TO HEAT UP

Amazing location in the heart of Ubud but without any noise! Decent room size and good AC.
A lot of mold... the entire bathroom ceiling is covered. Okay for one night but I wouldn't want to stay longer.
