Mercure Singapore Bugis

Like in most locations in Singapore this is a narrow building resulting in a tight room, but don't let that fool you, this packs great value. As you walk in the lobby is quite small, however with 24/7 staff at the front desk, you are quickly accommodated/checked in. We got the loft which was a great, more unique stay, well worth it considering the high ceilings providing a large window looking out to the city, making the room feel much more spacious. At 1.8m I just managed to stand where the bed was at the top of the loft. Considering this is just sleeping space, I thought this was very acceptable and would work for people taller then me. The location is great with hawker marker just a couple minutes walk away and the Bugis shopping centre also not far either. The roof top pool was great, you can see pretty far, but not looking towards any major features. The gym is small, but seemed to have enough equipment for a quick workout.

Loft height where the bed is might be too low for taller people over 1.8m.

It was clean and the staff was friendly.

The breakfast is not impresive. The somoking area it was inconfortable. The pool is small and the number of chares is to small.. the room was small.

The rooms were extremely small at16 sqm with no where to store clothes. It is fine for an overnight. But not having any drawers or wardrobe facilities means you live out of your suitcase. Which has to be stored under the bed due to limited floor space .
