Lowena Cafe and Accommodation

Kevin is an excellent host. My room was upgraded free of charge, and although it is an older Victorian style building, the amenities were perfectly fine. Breakfast was awesome and Kevin cooks to order! I really enjoyed the location and the feel of the place and the price was outstanding. Its an old home with character, so there are a few squeaks and a bit of wear, but really for a stay in the city with a car park you cant get much better!

The host Kevin is a funny character and cooks you an awesome breakfast of bacon, eggs and fried tomatoes and onion. Does cafe coffee and as much as you can drink 🤩 Beds were very comfortable and radiator heaters worked a treat as the rooms were cold

First appearance of being an abandoned run down house and the heaters could have been on warming the room before we got there

Kevin is very nice, sweet, and accommodating. He makes you free breakfast every morning and is on call whenever you need him. He even gave me a half price discount when I needed to extend my checkout as my flight is in the evening. Highly recommend this place if you don't mind the appearance on the outside. It has quite an atmosphere actually. It seems like the place is undergoing renovation. But the inside is neat, spacious, and cosy! Kevin didn't mind me inspecting the room first before paying too! He's very genuine with good intentions at heart. I would definitely stay again!
