Fantastic palazzo in a charming village

An exceptional villa. One of the nicest and most interesting places we have ever stayed. Our host, who owns the palazzo, was gracious and friendly. The suite was huge, with a comfortable bed and good bath facilities, as well as a separate drawing room. Very good breakfast. Right in the center of a charming and romantic village.

Finding the gate off the one lane street through town was a challenge, but the owner came out to let us in as soon as called her.

Anna was gracious and made sure we were comfortable and all our needs were met. She fixed excellent breakfasts for us in the morning so we had energy to get through the day.

The whole palace complex is exceptionally well organized and amazingly beautiful. The careful reception, spacious parking, and fantastic medieval garden that is a part of the palace are just an introduction to interior of the palace that looks like a museum. Comfortable rooms, inspiring library, elegant living room and stylish dining room make you feel like a nobleman from past. Located in the centre of Polcenigo, this is ideal place to visit this jewel of sub-Alpine Italy.

Charming hotel in the heart of historic Polcenigo.

Beautiful, charming hotel next to the main town square. Safe onsite parking. My husband & I traveled with our adult daughter and our 1 year old grandson. We had a two room suite with a crib for the bambino, plus a large, private bathroom for our family. Our hostess, Anna, was so kind and helpful. All of us loved our morning breakfasts—especially the delicious scrambled eggs!!!

It’s hard to find fault with such a lovely, comfortable place. It was a bit warm at night so we opened windows and our rooms each had fans, so we were all able to sleep well.

Beyond our expectations for a taste of Palazzo living in Italy! beautiful, comfortable, clean!

Breakfast was delicious and prepared at our convenience by the gracious hostess, Ana. Beautiful palazzo in historic medieval town. Very comfortable and clean. Modern bathrooms, hot water and all amenities. Refrigerator, tea kettle, tea and waters provided. Plenty of space to explore inside and out in the gardens. Fantastic gelateria next door and two restaurants across from the palazzo that are highly rated by Americans and Italians living in the area. Hiking trails for all skill levels begin in the town. Parking provided on the property. We recommend Palazzo Scolari to anyone who would like to experience northern Italy at its finest.

No AC- but two fans kept us cool at night. Softer quilt on bed would add to sleeping comfort-although the mattress itself was the best we have slept on during all our Italian travels.

It’s such a beautiful historic building in the heart of Polcenigo with the best gelato right next door. Anna the host was so accommodating and extremely friendly. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful building, beautiful and huge rooms, a true palazzo. Very good breakfast, extremely friendly and helpful host. The pictures tell a lot, but you have to see it to actually fully appreciate the building.

What a treasure in Polcenigo!

Ana is a super nice host with kindness and top notch customer service. Palazzo Scolari is a very classy place with amazing history and full of family tradition with so many antiques displayed inside. Our bedroom was very spacious and was in immaculate condition. Also breakfast was excellent with fresh ingredients and variety of choices. Polcenigo una piacevole scoperta e Palazzo Scolari ancor di più. Abbiamo soggiornato in un'oasi di pace, col suono del fiume in sottofondo. Un palazzo storico bellissimo, pulizia impeccabile e la signora Anna, una padrona di casa davvero stupenda, disponibile, gentilissima, ci ha fornito tanti suggerimenti per arricchire il nostro itinerario in un territorio di rara bellezza in cui la natura fa da padrone e in cui sicuramente torneremo. Le sorgenti del Gorgazzo, a brevissima distanza dalla struttura, indimenticabili!
