About this apartment rental
This is a unique one bedroom apartment located at the heart of the old colonial city center, within the 16th Century wall, one block away from famous Convent Santa Clara, often featured in Garcia Marquez´novels, and now a 5-star hotel. It has amazing views to the Las Bovedas Square, where they sell all kinds of original Colombian crafts, and it faces the ancient wall and a beautiful sunset view over the Caribbean. It was designed by two famous Spanish artists that live in Spain and used it sporadically during holidays. It´s a luxurious apartment with all kinds of amenities, i.e. broad-band WIFI internet, satellite LED TV, free national calls, wash and dryer, air conditioning, oven, daily cleaning, etc, etc, etc.
The apartment is located at the heart of the colonial city center, a couple of blocks away from restaurants, bars and cafes but still in a relatively quiet residential area. You can see and hear the ocean and take a swim in the nearby, literally a hundred yards, beach.

Leslie is an unbelievable hostess. The apartment is absolutely beautil prepare with everything yoy can aak. It is extremely secure and the balcony faces the sea. On top of all that everyone is cordial ans kind. A fantastic experiencia

Everything was wonderful except for the last week. The apartment next-door was under heavy construction and it woke us up early every morning. I wish we would’ve known that in advance we would’ve changed our dates.

Leslie the property manager was very helpful and made some great recommendations on activities in Cartagena. Property was clean just a little different than being in a hotel more personal interactions. Location is great and walking or short taxi ride to most places of interest. Couldn’t give 5start for cleanliness, but apartment was clean some of the facilities bashes were a little less standard than USA

Five day stay: Great Location Overall, very spacious and clean for the two of us. Noisy construction in the Apartment next to us was a bother. Tired Cupboards, wonky doors. Laundry detergent and dish liquid not supplied. Could not light gas Stove even with the mini-matches and range hood vent didn't seem to have a switch???Microwave: had to always unplug to stop it. Very hot water available in bathroom, but only lukewarm water in kitchen!!Bed was comfy, the many pillows were not. The two air conditioners and two ceiling fans were ample to balance the apartment for the humid hot days. Requires upgrading to bring it back to what it may have been.
