Rifugio Gorropu

Excellent location great base for the Gulf of Orsei beaches and the Gorropu canyon hike. You will definitely need a car. Highly recommend the food

I think the room needs a privacy curtain as well as the blackout curtain for the doors as the shared balcony is very overlooked if people are sitting outside.

Lovely hotel in the hills above Dorgali. Wonderful staff and delicious food and drink. Great location to explore the Supramonte.

We have found the room humid at our arrival, this might have been easily addressed turning on the air conditioning to the dehumidifier setting prior our arrival. No mosquito nets either at the door or on beds. Some bedside lamps did not work.

The view was fantastic in a lovely, quiet, rural setting. The Typical menu was excellent. The staff were very mixed - most excellent, a couple who made me feel like an inconvenience for just being there. Breakfast was quite good as long as you avoided the cold, rubbery eggs. The breakfast room would benefit from a toaster to toast the bread. There was some sort of hot plate provided (not sure what that was for), but it could not be used for toast. Aircon was good (and much needed), shower was good.

Middle of Sardinian summer—NO DRINKING GLASSES AND NO BOTTLED WATER OR FRIDGE in the room. In over 35 years of international travel for work and pleasure (including agrotourismos), I have never come across a room where no drinking glasses or bottled water was provided. When I raised it with staff, they said I could collect some from the dining room, and I was met with shoulder-shrugging indifference. Toileteries were stingy and only just enough to shower once each day. This place would benefit from a few small changes to enhance the guest experience. Maybe the proprietors should stay at other local agrotourismos to see what the guest experience can be.
