Mary Apartments

Mary and Emanuel, the hosts, were very kind and attentive, making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, especially for a large family. It’s in a great location, on a main avenue and just a 10-minute walk from the ferry to Lisbon.

There is no elevator, and we had to carry our luggage upstairs but we know about it.

Great for longer stays. Everything you need for fully independent holiday/work stays: big fridge with freezer, oven, stove, washing machine, drier... Even though the apartment is right next to tram tracks, the studio is oriented to the opposite side of the road so there was no noise at all from the road. The check in and check out was done using lockboxes, the owner was really nice, the communication was very good. The apartment is a little run down but nothing too bad, just small visual things, everything works without a problem. The washing machine could use a change, some of the sounds coming from it after a little scary, but again, it works just fine. Taking into account that you get an apartment for the price of a hotel room, it's worth it.

Even though the apartment is far from the airport, there was a bit of noise from airplanes, or at least I think it was from airplanes. It wasn't a noise per say, the windows have a good insulation, it was more of a vibrations spreading through the walls. I think it's because the roof of the building is partially glass. It wasn't loud or frequent, so unless you are a very light sleeper, you should be fine. The studio is on the highest floor, I imagine the other apartments at lower floors don't get this noise.

Emplacement idéal, très bien desservi par les transports en commun et proche des supérettes. Climatisation bien pratique

Manque d'équipements pour une famille de 4 (3 bols, 2 petites cuillères, 3 chaises, casseroles petites). Les photos n'étaient pas contractuelles avec l'appartement, je pensais qu'il y avait un espace salon Problème lors de la réservation, bien réglé par la plateforme booking. Appartement partagé avec un local de ménage, la porte d'entrée de l'appartement fait peu sécurisée, elle ne ferme qu'au 2 ème tour de serrure.
