Alex surf hostel was truly the perfect stay in Baleal. Close to the surf, restaurants, supermarket, beach and Peniche is a short drive. The kitchen, pool and outdoor area were so good for socialising and meeting others, Alex also offers skate sessions and a weekly bbq which are all worth joining in on. I had the best time will definitely be back :)

I loved how close it was to everything, food places, shops and the beach. It made everything easy for walking to. The place has everything you needed, good kitchen facilities and nice bathroom. The staff were so helpful and they even do barbecues and surf skate sessions nearby for all the guests.
I liked it all, for the value of money it was perfect.

rooms and shared space were tidy
toilet paper wasn’t restocked. clean towels were not provided, which is needed as we stayed 4 days.
