Vaticano Luxury Guest House

Awesome. Also check out local neighborhood off Rienzo street and, for nice dining, RAF restaurant one block over from Rienzo, on via Plinio. Access is easy but be sure to have internet connection before showing up to get in front door.

The location was fantastic. A five minute walk to St Peter’s Basilica, lots of nice places to eat within a ten minute walk and within a few minutes you can walk across the river to access the other sites of Rome. We walked everywhere from the guesthouse. The colosseum was the furthest place we visited and that was a 38 minute direct walk, however we stopped at so many lovely sites on the way we booked to see the colosseum late afternoon and made the walk part of our day/evening out. I really would recommend this guesthouse and will definitely stay here again if we ever return to Rome (which we will as it’s a fantastic city).

The bed was too hard for me, but I do have a soft gel mattress at home. The comfort would have been 10 out of 10 if the bed had been softer.
