Its charm and character - the staff were really nice people.
Having to walk from the main castle to the new dining room in the rain for breakfast. Also the lack of apology for the false fire alarm through the night. Having to wait 15mins for the receptionist who was having to sort out breakfast room service for another client, to check us out (we didn’t even know that was possible until we checked out - would have saved us getting wet!)

Location excellent, food good, trocaderos excellent
Booked a castle room, booking website said there was tea making facilities with room, however there was not, called reception who tuned up with tray, however when checking out they charged us £13 for this which I thought was shocking considering we paid £260 for room.
