It is perfectly located in the center of Salerno. You can quickly reach a wide variety of great restaurants and cafes/bars. There is a self serve laundromat right across the street which has large capacity washers and dryers. The room (Shell) looked just like the photos. It was very clean and well stocked with towels, toilet paper & coffe & tea items. Although, you are right in the center of the city, it is quiet during the night. The gentleman, Antonio, who checked us in was very friendly & extremely helpful. He lives in the same building and when we would run into him he would double check that we had everything we needed and did not have any questions.
There was nothing that we found to be a problem.

We liked the location and one of the bedrooms was really large.
We thought there would be a living space. We were surprised that the only tv was in one of the bedrooms and there was no place to be together as a family.

We thought the room was very clean and comfortable. Antonio was very welcoming and so helpful; we followed up on his recommendations. The location is very central and Salerno has a lot to offer.
Really, there's nothing to dislike!

The location is good.
I am extremely dissatisfied with this accommodation. The person who greeted us saw that we had a child and proceeded to give us a long, tedious list of dos and don'ts—don’t touch this, don’t move that. In reality, we travel abroad frequently, and so does our child. We have never damaged anything in any accommodation. When I asked about the location of the largest supermarket nearby, instead of telling me where it was, he actually said, "You are not allowed to cook in this room," and so on. We explained that we just needed to do some daily shopping, but he still didn’t tell me where the supermarket was—instead, he kept repeating that we hadn’t booked a room with a kitchen and weren’t allowed to cook.
Eventually, I was assigned Room 5 on the ground floor, which faced a noisy street with extremely poor soundproofing. It was very loud every time a motorcycle passed by. After I insisted firmly, they finally moved me to a quieter room upstairs. The upstairs room was larger and had a kitchen, but I was asked to pay an extra €20. I have no issue with paying the extra €20—I agreed to it—but their attitude made me very uncomfortable.
Before the room change, the check-in process alone took us an hour. Then, changing rooms took another half hour. The entire check-in process wasted a full hour and a half of our time. An hour and a half of our precious vacation time! We had originally planned to take a walk on the beach, but by the time check-in was finally over, it was already completely dark. We had neither the time nor the mood to go out anymore.
