A gem in Paleokastritsa

Everything was perfect. We were welcomed with some fresh fruit and typical wine on our arrival. The apartment was well cleaned and comfortable, with everything one's need to cook. Ponterossa is located so close to the sea that you can ear the lovely sound of the waves. I want to thank the host who was very welcoming and a special thanks to Elena who was always kind and professional to us.

L'appartement était très propre. Tres bien équipé. J'ai apprécié les bassines pour faire mon linge et les équipements de plage pour notre confort. On était à deux pas de la plage et du monastère

Nous n'avons pas vu que l'espace extérieur était partagé (non précisé dans l'annonce) . Ce manque d'intimité nous a déplu. Heureusement nos voisins étaient adorables. Voulant bien faire, la propriétaire est entrée sans prévenir pour changer la poubelle. On était à moitié nus dans l'appartement !

Bellissima casa vicino al mare

Casa molto curata, nuovissima con 2 bagni, ampio patio a disposizione, barbeque, in una posizione davvero tranquilla ma allo stesso tempo vicinissima ad una bella spiaggia. Panorama molto bello e silenzio notturno. Parcheggio davanti a casa.

I materassi, nuovi anche quelli, erano piuttosto duri, ma hanno detto che porranno rimedio.

Ruhig in Nähe des Klosters

Ruhig in der Nähe des Ortes gelegen. Sehr große Terrasse, die man sich aber mit dem Nachbarn teilen muss. Wir hatten Glück mit den Nachbarn, kann aber auch anders sein. Für 2 Erwachsene vielleicht noch mit 2 Kindern zu empfehlen. Elena war äußerst Liebenswürdig. Ausstattung ist absolut in Ordnung. Wenn man bedenkt welche Menschenmassen täglich zum Kloster gekarrt werden, haben wie die Lage abseits genossen.

Wie schon oft geschrieben ist die Zufahrt sehr steil. Muss man eben kräftig auf Gas oder Bremse treten. Zu Fuß empfiehlt sich der Weg über den Strand. Matratzen sind schon ganz schön hart. Küche reicht für das Nötigste.

Très beau séjour à Corfou

Tous nous a plus, surtout l’emplacement et l’accès directe à la petite plage. Pour les voyageurs en voiture : on a loué petite voiture (Nissan Micra) et on a eu aucun problème pour monter et descendre la cote qui mène vers la maison. En effet ça peut faire un peu peur au début mais heureusement qu’il y a des feux pour éviter que les deux voiture se croise en même temps.

The location was very good with just a short walk to a beautiful bay, Ampelaki beach and quite close to some excellent restaurants. Very quiet and no sound of cars just the serenity of the water

Paleo is a beautiful place to visit but we wouldn’t stay in this apartment again.

It had everything we needed, plenty of space and 2 bathrooms was really helpful. Air conditioning was a life saver! The view was gorgeous.

Not ideal location if you don’t have a car. Either a really (really) steep and long road (we didn’t even attempt to walk it) or lots of steps and then a walk across a rocky beach to get anywhere. We managed but for anyone with younger children or walking issues you wouldn’t be able to do it. Our stay was tarnished by being asked to pay extra money halfway through for the children, despite putting the ages of both children on the booking and the place being made up for 4 people. They wanted an extra 45€ which we refused to pay. Had a very uncomfortable conversation with the woman on the property who didn’t really speak English, then a phone conversation where we were spoken to rudely by someone who did speak English but couldn’t grasp it was an issue for them to take up with booking.com. Because of this we would not return to the same apartment.

The hostess Elena is an excelent person. The apartment is located very close to the small calm beach. From this beach everything can be accessed in the town. Apartment with enough space and two bathrooms.

Adrenalin rush every time going up the hill. Bathrooms stink a little. A lot of ants in the kitchen, we had to put all food to the fridge

It is the best place to stay in Paleokastritsa. Everything is close, but you have your own private place and private access to the beach.Hosts were very nice and took good care of their place, but didn't bother guests.

Would recommend this location to any of you.

The location is wonderful, very quiet and peaceful. The closest beach is 80m away. You can hear the waves while relaxing in the garden.

Nice apartment close to the beach

The location is lovely and the nearest beach is just a short walk down the hill. The hosts are very friendly. The accommodation was comfortable. Parking next to the apartment was always fine. The size of the apartment is nice.

Unfortunately the coffee machine was full of limescale, so to brew one cup of coffee was a half an hour... which was very disappointing. We contacted the host about this, but unfortunately no response.

Wonderful experience

I liked everything else. The place itself was clean and had everything we needed. The location and view is exceptional. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Communication was great. We couldn't have asked for a better accommodation.

The only issue we had was the steep access road to the apartment. I didn't dare to drive up the hill in our small rental car every day so we parked the car in different locations further away. But that was the only issue for us, and also not a big one.

Lovely owners, perfect location, tranquil

Best location in Paleokastritsa: on a hill overlooking the quietest of the town's beaches! Private steps to the beach and the town, a steep hill going upwards for an amazing walk to Lakones. Perfect for peace and quiet (and no noise from cars) and especially for people who love nature or listening to the waves before falling asleep.

There is a short, steep hill down to the property, which was scary at first. After a couple of days, it didn't seem so bad!

Thea apartment was very clean, there were very comfortable beds, new air conditioning, a very big and well furnished terrace with a gorgeous view (lovely swinging chair, lounge beds, BBQ, huge table and chairs, beautiful lighting, a shower) The path to the beach closest to home was very well lit and a sympathetic host. I highly recommend Ponte Rossa Apartment

Everything was brilliant yet if you have a rental car, the journey from the top of the hill to the parking is very steep so you'd require nerves of steel!!! :D

The house is beautiful in a privileged location and with a sensational view! To the beautiful lookout, beach access can be reached on foot. beautiful, spotless. It has air conditioning. Great sheets and towels! Much affection and care in the details, including the fresh fruits on the table on the deck. The hosts are sweethearts and so helpful! I've got a gift from the hoster in the last day before leaving that was so good from her side :). We felt super welcomed, loved it, and recommend it.

The space ,lashings of hot water, great air conditioning, lovely friendly management and owners .Great outdoor area ,secure,private,secluded and quiet yet very accessible for the beach and the beach-front facilities.

Nothing much the only thing is we managed to lock ourselves out as the doors latch which is unusual to people from the UK.
