Relaxing in paradise

We rented the junior suite with terrace (studio #2), which is just as wonderful as it looks on the pictures. The comfortable extra large bed, rain shower and two-person jacuzzi were a bliss. The kitchen contained enough basic equipment to make your own food, and there are also plenty of great restaurants neaby. Stavroula Studios is located on a steep hill, just 10 minutes walking to three nearby beaches and 5 minutes to a nearby supermarket. But it's far away from all noise. We had quiet neighbors; the upstairs neighbors are the owners, but they very much respect your privacy. We only had contact with the cleaning lady, Mariana, who was very hospitable and friendly, and did a superb job cleaning the studio every day. The location is excellent and the nature on Corfu is so beautiful. If you want to visit other areas of the island, like Porto Timoni and Cape Drastis, we do recommend renting a car. We stayed for 10 days, but wished we stayed longer. We'd love to return one day. Would highly recommend!

The refrigerator makes a very loud buzzing sound every time it turns on. There are a lot of mosquitos in the area (however there are mosquito screens in all doors and windows)

A great location but the property could use some attention.

This property is in a great location in terms of access to beaches. It has a nice little balcony overlooking a valley. The complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival was appreciated.

The property could use a little TLC. The kitchen is fairly randomly equipped, e.g. only one wine glass. The shower is very small (tray with curtain) and it is virtually impossible not to flood the bathroom in the process of using it, with no toiletries holder. Generally the property was very quiet but there was a noisy event happening on the Sunday evening into the early hours of the morning which kept us awake.

Very steep hill to get to the property. Shower kept on leaking out onto the floor as there was only a shower curtain. Beds were a bit hard.

Perfect!

Fabulous place to stay in easy walking distance of everything (it’s uphill back to the apartment but only 5 mins) Stavroula was very welcoming and helpful and the apartment was cleaned and beds made almost daily which was lovely. Bed was comfy place was super clean and views over the hills were lovely morning and evening on the terrace. Couple of notes which might be relevant to others (but didn’t concern us at all) 1- the WiFi was awful - there were two routers we could connect to but mostly there was no internet so if that is important to you it might be an issue 2-the listing says there are two large double beds whereas there is just one big bed that can be split into two singles. Again, no issue for us as was just me and my daughter but might be for someone else Thank you Stavroula for making our break utterly relaxing and lovely !

Had everything we needed for a relaxing and peaceful holiday - would highly recommend!

Myself and my sister stayed at Stavroula Studios room 6 for 5 nights and had a brilliant time. The location is perfect, only 5 minute walk to the sandy beach and restaurants, and very close to a supermarket as well. The studio looked better in person than in the photos and had absolutely everything we needed; great air conditioning, very comfortable beds, free WiFi, powerful shower, toilet paper and soap provided, small well-equipped kitchenette, umbrella and towels for the beach, and a peaceful balcony which caught the afternoon sun. The lovely cleaner came every day and did an excellent job, the studio was always spotless after she came. The host was also very friendly and responsive. I think the price of the studio was very reasonable and good value. Overall we had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing stay and I would highly recommend staying at Stavroula Studios!

The only negative was that the building is located a couple minutes walk up a steep hill, but is absolutely fine if you are of average fitness.

A super studio in a great location and excellent value for money

A super little studio in a great location only 5 minutes walk from Paleokastritsa village and it's beaches. The facilities within the studio were more than sufficient for our stay. And Stavroula (the owner) is very friendly and helpful. The bottle of wine on arrival was a lovely touch. I would definitely recommend!

The location is not far from the beaches. The room was clean and cozy. Cleaning everyday. Also own little kitchen was very nice. The check in would be easy unfortunately we didn't receive the email with instructions however after short call all was explained therefore I would not count this as a negative experience. Also we got free wine as a welcome.

I wasn't expecting it to be so high in the hill therefore I had leg day everyday throughout the stay.

The location was GREAT! There was a supermarket right down the hill with everything we needed (Kathy’s), beaches close by, the aquarium, the monastery and viewpoint, lots of shopping, and nice restaurants. Stavroula was SO nice! She recommended sights to see, the best beaches, and the best times to go. She was always available and helpful. She and her family also own a taverna close by that she invited us to eat at; the food was amazing! There was a cleaning service daily which was amazing, as well. She also had a full kitchen which we used to cook dinner one night! It had everything we needed. The room was brand new, the shower was great, the balcony was large and had a beautiful view, and the beds were comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone else who visits Corfu!

We noticed other reviews mention the “steep hill” leading to the apartment, but we didn’t feel that it was bad at all. The location couldn’t have been better!

Great apartment with a nice balcony (ours had no view of the sea, but it was looking at a nice hillside with olive trees). Well-equipped kitchen, cleaning every day. Walls are a bit thin so we could hear the neighbor's snoring, but otherwise it was great. Supermarket, restaurants and beaches are very close, but be prepared for a bit of a climb on the way back.

We were impressed with this accommodation! It has a good location, very comfortable beds and it was super clean. I would like to mention that the everyday cleaning was the top of it, we felt like at home. Great communication with the owner as well. Thank you very much!

The apartment was small but clean and cozy. The cleaning lady was super nice and everyday when we were coming back to the room, all our things were in the right place. The kitchen had all the basic things for cooking.

The bathroom had a small problem...I think with the pipes. And sometimes a bad smell was coming out.

Great accomodation in a beautiful place!

We had a great time - the accomodation was very clean, well equiped, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. We also had a lovely view into the nature from our balcony. We would certainly recommend it!

The accomodation is in a steep hill which wasn’t problem for us but it should be advertised as such - in case some future visitors have troubles walking, are carrying a stroller etc.

Beautiful stay in Stavroula Studios.

If you want to stay in Paleokastritsa for the whole trip this is the perfect place to stay. It is very close to the beach and the restaurants(tavernas) - everything is walking distance from Stavroula Studios. The host was very nice, the room was cleaned every day.

If you want to travel around the island you shouldn't stay in this area. The roads to the other towns(beaches) are very narrow and even some of them are kind of off-road. It is a hassle to travel somewhere and go back to Paleokastritsa.

This was a dream two week stay. Firstly, the excellent location of the apartment due to its proximity to all sorts of beaches, supermarkets , restaurants,car and boat hire and the bus stop of "green line" to Corfu town. What more could you want? Secondly the flat is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday stay. There is a kitchenette for preparing meals, but to be honest we preferred to use the nearby restaurants, especially dining at the Meraklis tavern run by the owner of the property. Delicious homemade food ( with a discount offered to the guests of Stavroula Studios :-) ). The flat has a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful olive grove, just perfect for an relaxing afternoon with an iced coffee. There is air-conditioning, but we did not use it because it was pleasantly cool at night. Anyway, the apartment was situated in the north-west, so it does not heat up so much during the day. The apartment was spotlessly clean thanks to the daily housekeeping (thank you to the lovely lady in charge). There are parking spaces in front of the building, so there is no problem with a rented car or scooter. Not to forget the fact that the owner has planted a jasmine tree which diffuses a beautiful scent, this will be part of my memories of this place. All this made our holiday more than pleasant. Thirdly: Stavroula and the family - thanks to your hospitality we will definitely return to Corfu. Best Regards, Milenia

It was really good place ! We traveled to Korfu with 1yr old kid. Room was clean, (cleaning lady cleans room every day). It is really near to beaches and restaurants. I can highly recommend this place. Stavroula is awesome, she was really helpful during our staryw in Korfu!

Excellent place to stay!

We liked everything about this apartment. It was spacious, light, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Beds were on the firm side but very comfortable, the air con was great, kitchen and bathroom both fine. Plenty of space. The balcony was a lovely spot to have breakfast and was very private. Also the room was serviced every day which was fabulous. Very pleased.

When booking, I was looking for a sea view, I booked that type. Prior to arrival, I asked the property to confirm if there will be any sea views. He did not answer. There was no sea view from either the window or the terrace (room 2)! The door lock did not work properly. It was stuck, it was in need. My wife and daughter couldn’t open it, it took me minutes in the first time. I booked accommodation for 3 people, but in the kitchen were only 2 chairs, only 2 spoons, only 2 flat plates. There was a wine opener, but only 1 wine glass. There were only 2 blankets… Asset inventory was below minimum, which is price category independent. All knives were knurled, there was no straight-edged knife for slicing meat or vegetables. The oven is spectacularly sloping. The oil flowed to one side of the pan. There was no hanger in the bathroom, just a single mini hook. The shower curtain was short and/or the shower tray was small, water always spilled on the floor. The owner should have introduced himself in person, but he did not. (or she, I have no idea)

Really nice place to stay, close to the beach. Rooms are very spacious, clean, there was kitchen in the room, a balcony where you can eat your breakfast. Would definitely recommend to stay for few days. Out of all place Paleokastritsa is really beautiful! 👌😊

We really apreciated the owner who introduced us to the neighbourhood, took care of us during all the stay, beeing allways real nice, friendly and helpful. Also we had the chance to taste some delicious greek cuisine in our owner's tavern :)
