I would not recommend this to anyone.

The balcony had a nice view, but that was its only highlight.

The room smelled, and the smell didn’t go away even after airing it out. Everything was old, worn out, and dirty. Half of the lamps didn’t work, the TV was broken, the door wouldn’t stay closed unless it was locked, there were no mosquito nets, the walls were thin, the pool was dirty, and in the garden there were at least 10 hungry stray cats that kept pushing in through every door and window and meowing sadly. Even though we had a reservation and had paid in advance for six days, we left on the second morning. The owner still hasn’t shown any interest in why we disappeared. Paleokastritsa itself was also a disappointment for us. With children, it’s worth visiting the aquarium, but the town itself isn’t worth a longer stay. Corfu has nicer places and more hospitable owners.

Bike-friendly

Good location up the hill a bit, so it's quiet, but not far to walk down to the shops and beach. We had a very nice, airy room with a balcony overlooking the pool and the hillside. Well-equipped kitchen. Lovely pool and a nice family atmosphere - recommended for a relaxing place to stay. Plenty of room under the building to store bikes.

Amazing to switch off. Quiet.

The accommodation looks much better in real than in the pictures. Lovely local couple are the host, so nice and kind. They give you towels and umbrella to the beach. 10minutes walking from the beach. 3 different beaches very closed by. Supermarkets very nearby too. Loved the view from my apartment!

Amazing location, few minutes walk from my personal opinion the best beach on the island. Room was spacious and clean a bit outdated definitely some work is required especially in the bathroom. We didn’t use pool but was very big and cleaned every morning. There were some lovely cats residents who welcomed you in the morning :) the staff was nice and helpful. The room is on the hill so brace yourself for some walk up the hill if you don’t have a car.

The signal was barely there - which was a massive issue as the WIFI was not working correctly despite us being connected to the internet, it wouldn’t work in the room - so it was hard to call my family and do some planning for the next day due to signal issue. The bed was okay a bit hard however the pillows were far too small and flat, they almost felt like the decor pillow making it a bit uncomfortable to sleep - definitely having some extra pillow would be a plus. The bathroom was a bit outdated and it needs mosquito net at the window, as after a shower and opened window we’ve had multiple mosquitoes in the room. There was quite a bit of dust in the wardrobe. Despite all these issue I would highly recommend staying due to this location as it unbeatable for this price and has everything you need :)

Dated rooms and broken amnesties

The location was okay but a bit of a climb.

Booked two nights but had enough after just a few hours. The rooms were dated, the stove was broken, and the kitchen appliances weren't clean. The AC didn't work, and there were a ton of mosquitos. No mobile signal in the room, and the WiFi only worked by the pool. The extra bed is a sofa chair bed! When taking a shower expect the whole bathroom to be covered in water. We're also still owed five euros in change.

Perfect for solotravellers

The hotel is very familiar and the hosts are very friendly. Because i was alone, they invited me to join them in the evenning and we had nice talks. Paleokastritsa ist a nice place to do trips by car. In the morning and the evenning it's calm in the city. At the afternoon many tourists come for a day-trip.

The hotel facilities are very basic and some years old, but for a few day it's definitly okay.

The best location with the most helpful hosts

The breakfast is good: coffee, orange juice, omelette, toast, jam and butter, ham, fruit bread, croissant. The location is the best:beautiful seaview, the beach is just 5 minutes walk, nice restaurants, mini market are nearby. The hosts are very kind and helpfull people, they help you with everything they can. The apartman was clean.

There is no mosquito net in the room.'

I really like a place, and property. Location in 200-300 hundred metres from the closest beach. In room was clean, and actually very nice. we had a small kitchen, where we can cook. and also in properly was hairdryer (it’s very important for me). the owners nice and friendly🙂

In many ways a holiday of a lifetime, the location is that stunning. Would happily go back.

The view was absolutely stunning, the apartment was clean and nicely presented and the balcony was fantastic. The pool was lovely and the owners were really friendly and accommodating. Beautiful setting. Maid service twice in the week. Great location, 5 minutes from beach and town but still had a sense of seclusion. Set in an olive grove with the Ionian Sea visible from the front of the hotel and some balconies.

The shower is non thermostatic so the temperature fluctuated, at times wildly! The mattress was on the hard side. No hob but had pans! Turns out that a portable hob is available on request. No resort information in the room. All this needs to be set in the context of it being a 2 star hotel. Local supermarkets are not cheap. If you going with a family and self catering do your big shops in Lidl in Corfu or budget extra for food.

Good value for the price. 5 minute walk from Paleokastritsa Beach.

Very nice place with a very nice pool. My children love the pool more than the beach, so this was an excellent choice to stay at. It is very close to walk to Paleokastritsa - about 5 minutes (but it is a steep 5 minutes and I would not recommend it if you are old or have an injury). The beach is beautiful there. Be sure to arrive between 10am and 11am at the beach because after that, the tourist buses come in with people and they take up a lot of space on the beach. So it is good you stay here at this hotel/apartment - strategically located.

I had to kill about 25 mosquitos when we arrived in the apartment. I think the cleaning people left the doors open. My family did not want to get bitten at night.

Friendly host. Convenient location, close to the beach. Excellent view of the hills and sea from the balcony. Clean. Equipped kitchen to make your own food should you wish so. Cats.

Passable

It is an absolutely charming place in a great location. Very close to the beach and restaurants, still quiet. Great pool with an actual deep end. The house is surrounded by tons of flowers and is very nicely situated behind an olive garden. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. It is clean. There are lots of animals around - cats, bats, bird nests everywhere with little birds sitting on the eggs. It is very family friendly. We loved the fauna and the views!

Everything is sort of half working, like getting only two sets of towels for a party if 3. The cleaner, didn't come for a while. Then she came, but never cleaned the toilet and sink. The toilet would start leaking sometimes and then suddenly stop, and start again. Of course the handyman never arrived. The shower door was about to fall off. The place serves a nice breakfast and actually does have a coffee machine, but it is broken, so you get instant coffee instead. The little stove in the kitchen had to be pulled out of the socket, otherwise it wouldn't turn off. And so on. We stayed in multiple appartements and every one had a different set of surprises. If you don't care about such things or don't stay long, it is an absolutely charming place to stay. If you do, then it might become a problem. Since I was the person, who booked the place for our party, my stay was a little intense at certain points.

Great location for a good price

Location was perfect, only a short uphill walk from the beach and local shops/restaurants. Katerina was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The size of the room was huge and had everything you need. We had a pleasant 3 night stay at Ariannas apartments.

The bed was very uncomfortable (at least for me) and made my back ache.

The hosts are very lovely and welcoming, and the location is amazing. You are at the perfect beach in just 5mins walk, with lovely restaurants and little shops. From there you can take boat trips etc. The pool at the hotel complex is also nice. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the pool.

The standard rooms are very basic. When we arrived the fastening of the shower to the wall had broken off previously so the shower head was just lying around. The toilet was also leaking at the time. However we raised this to the hosts and they did help fix things in the bathroom to make it better.

Great hosts - very helpful and nice people, awesome pool, quite a big room with very pretty view from balcony. Location of the apartment is great, very close to 3 beautiful beaches, restaurant and small supermarket. We just loved everything about this place, it made us feel as at home a we want to come back.

OK with potential to be fantastic

The location and pool area of this accommodation are fantastic. The size of the apartment and balcony area are also very good. The property has so much potential to be fantastic with just a little bit more care and attention.

The cleanliness of the room. Underneath the beds didn't appear to have been cleaned for months if not years. During our week stay the floor was washed once (not sure if it was swept prior to washing) and the sheets weren't changed. There were throws for the beds but again these could have done with a wash. On arrival there was no stopper for the kitchen sink, no tea towel or bath mat (the shower leaked). We had to ask twice for these items. When our towels were replaced we only got 2 large towels but no hand towels - again had to ask twice for these. These are all things that could be remedied easily and would vastly improve the property.
