Palazzo Murrano - Adults Only

The hotel is located just 50 meters from the sea and its beach bar, which we really loved. The staff were very professional, friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast was very good, with excellent coffee and cappuccino. The hotel is also very clean and well maintained. Overall, we had a very nice experience and I would definitely love to come back for a couple of nights.

The only thing we didn’t like was that our room was located on the first floor, just above the restaurant, which was quite loud in the evening. However, this wasn’t a major issue for us — we simply went back to our room and enjoyed the rest of the evening there.

Privacy, cleanliness, friendly receptionist, parking, Internet access, shower and of course the platform with access to the sea.

Breakfast (too many cakes, no savory selection only some average cheese and salami), staff at breakfast was just 'doing their job', no minibar available (or selection of beers and wine), bottled water not included in the price and overcharged. Hotel was not very knowledgeable about excursions.

Giuseppe (the manager), Vito the desk clerk, and Nyla the breakfast lady all went above and beyond our expectations. We were in Europe for 40 nights in 3 different climates and had a lot of luggage. My husband is 100% disabled and has medication that requires refrigeration. They were so kind to help us with our bags up the cobblestone incline from the marina area and allowed us to store ice packs in the freezer in the breakfast room. Breakfast was much more than the typical Italian Continental with a selection of meat & cheese as well as fresh made to order eggs. They also had 3 types of local honey which helped greatly with the springtime blossoms which were causing some bothersome allergy symptoms. The room and attached private bathroom were large and airy (biggest shower I’ve seen in Italy) with great hot water and excellent water pressure. The balcony and breakfast area on the 3rd floor had a lovely view of the marina the bay of Napoli with Vesuvius in the background. The canopy bed is romantic and the bamboo mattress and pillows were very comfortable. There was even one handicap parking spot right next to the property which we were able to use for free for the 3 nights we were staying there. We then parked our car for 5 nights in the campground close by for €15/night while we took the once daily ferry to Capri (for €24 each and only €3 for our suitcase just steps away from the property). Palazzo was incredibly kind to store 3 pieces of our luggage for free during this time.

The private/shared sub deck at the end of the marina was only open the first night of our 3 night stay, so we’re glad we ventured out that evening to gaze at the bay of Napoli and watch the sunset. There were few dining options and shops nearby that were open with any predictability due to it not being high season yet.

I have never met a staff so warm. Everyone went above and beyond at every turn Nila's breakfast was the best I've ever had. The only thing that could improve the experience has nothing to do with the hotel. The bus drivers and staff at the train station were just short of nasty. I left feeling that Alfonso, Francesco, Annamarie, Guissepe, Nilla and the sweet housekeeper were friends. I've traveled to many countries and stayed in many, many hotels and never before have I hugged the staff when I left with tears in my eyes. Nice hotel, amazing staff!
