The cottage is large and well equipped. Sally and Margaret are wonderful hosts. Location is very good being just off the N2 near Plettenburg. The absolute highlight for us were the 3 Knysna Lourie/Turaco which visited each day. One was a resident and the other 2 wild. We put banana on the balcony railing and thry come down to eat. Absolutely stunning birds. They are not guaranteed but were a definite highlight for us.
The fact that vervet monkeys and baboons can be a nuisance if you eat outside. Something to beware of. Having said that, we saw them as wd arrived and not for the next 3 nights.

If you love the forest, birds, peace and quiet - this is the place for you! You'll be immersed in nature's green glory. The hosts are lovely, kind, great - giving you peaceful space but responsive if you need assistance. The location is great - close enough to everything you need, far enough to feel like you are away from the madness of life - and if you want to simply rest it's ideal. There is lots to see and do in the area.
There is a 2-plate gas stove that functions well - but I missed having a fully functioning stove.
