The location is fantastic and excellent for through walking the GR221.
The property is quirky, characterful and beautiful.
The evening meal was fine. Welcome hot food after a day hiking in the rain.
The owner was pleasant.
There was no heating so I struggled to get my clothes dry - all my gear wa soaked when I arrived.
There was no hot water for a hot shower through my stay.
The breakfast was a bit basic and limited. Some boiled eggs and more coffee machines or filter coffee flask or cafetierre coffee would be good.

Beautiful old finca modernized to a very high standard. Situated in a remote rural part of the island with goats and sheep in the nearby field. Very quiet and peaceful. Home cooked food by the proprietor's wife.
A sign making it clearer you have arrived at the correct destination. The beware of the dog sign leads you to think you may be at the wrong place.

Fantastic renovation of an old Finca. Great traditional vibe. Lovely evening meal. Friendly staff
Freezing cold house. Made own fire in lounge but rest of house bitterly cold. Terrible shower, low pressure and cold. Breakfast very poor: cold coffee, cheap bread, jam pots and butter, apple and yoghurt for 10 euros. Rip-off! The whole place is massively over priced. A Refuge charging Hotel prices based solely on location. Go somewhere else.
