Maria's Apartments

Maria is the best host ever met. She came to pick up us and she have us great suggestions! She is the owner of the best greek restaurant in kastellorizo (Ta platania) which is nearby the apartment. Cozy apartment, great location! We will come back for sure!

It was so comfortable and homely with absolutely everything we needed — including a sunny terrace with a table and chairs. We really appreciated being just a few steps from the picturesque main square of the town with its beautiful church, and Maria’s own exceptional restaurant, with tables under leafy trees, strung with fairy lights by night. Maria picked us up from the port and took us on a tour of the small island including the quick routes to beaches and the port. Everything was just minutes away.

Maria was an exceptionally friendly host, meeting us at the port and driving us to the apartment which was only a very short distance but in a lovely quiet spot on the path to the Castle. The apartment was spotless and had everything necessary for a very comfortable stay. A special mention for Maria's family restaurant Ta Platania, where we enjoyed outstanding home cooked, fresh food in a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

There was nothing to dislike. The apartment exceeded expectations as the photos on Booking.com do not do it justice.

The whole experience was wonderful. Maria is a very welcoming Host.Our flight to the island was cancelled at short notice. We eventually arrived by ferry, and Maria met us at the port to assist with luggage to the accommodation. The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, spacious, and well equipped. The location was absolutely amazing with a view of the beautiful church in front of us and the mountain around us. On our last evening Maria's mother made us a meal of Dolmades and local goat which was absolutely delicious. 😋. We look forward to returning next year. Thank you, Maria and family.
