Can Mocamp

My stay at Can Mocamp was incredible. Can and his family are incredible hosts, sharing their passions for their country, culture, diving and marine conservation. The atmosphere at the camp is wonderful, and I quickly felt like friends and family rather than a guest. The camp is incredibly inclusive, everyone is welcomed warmly. The staff work tirelessly, and the vibe is incredible. The location is perfect, a little out of town to enjoy the quiet, with a perfect swimming spot only 2 mins walk from the front gate. My time in Turkey would have felt 2 dimensional and removed if it wasn’t for my stay at Can Mocamp. I learnt so much of Turkeys culture, music, history, food and much more because of my time here. I can’t say enough good things about my time here, and look forward to seeing everyone again in the future.

Smiling for the staff all the time

The hostel was in walking distance to a public beach.

From our arrival the staff were not very helpful and at times quite rude. Trying to get information from them was difficult, for example they told us to go walk into town to schedule a shuttle instead of helping us by giving us a number to contact like we explicitly asked. Additionally they claim it is a 15 minute walk into town, when it is really closer to 30 minutes. They have an Italian restaurant on the property but this is the only location you can buy water so you are forced to pay restaurant prices for your bottled water, which is a necessity as you can’t drink the tap water. And there are no stores anywhere else near the hostel. Additionally, the edge of our room was lined with hundreds of dead ants. I would not stay here again for the price point.
