This is an excellent houseboat. Firdous is an exceptional host. The overall vibe is beautiful. The location of this property is away from noise, extremely peaceful and safe for solo travellers, females as well.
The host's family is warm, they provide home made food. You can have omelet, kashmiri bread and tea in breakfast.
Firdous welcomes with Kahwa. He has good contacts with shawl vendors, you can buy good local Kashmiri clothes and shawls.
Excellent service. Safe and warm place.
It was my second home while I was on my journey of exploring the Kashmir.

The host Firdous was really helpful. Communication before, during and after stay was perfect. The dinner was very nice home made Kashmiri food. He also arranged a car for my local trips to e.g. Pahelgam.
The price was unbeatable for Kashmir.
If I come to Srinagar again, I will definitely stay there.

i like it was on the lake and calm, the staff was really nice and helpful when i got food poisoning taking me to the farmacy
I didn’t like in winter it was freezing, and also every ride to shore you had to pay. Also on winter is freezing , bed had heater blankets but if you go toilet was so cold
