Close to Finn recreation centre, a nice alternative to a hotel. Great staff but breakfast was not so good

There were a number of things not working in the unit when we arrived and we had to get maintenance to fix them and to get House keeping to clean again before we settled in .

Nothing. The staff were nice at first when we were checking in but that was about it.
It was disgusting. The entire place was dirty. Dirty floors, dirty walls, DISGUSTING bathrooms, especially the upstairs one. My friend and I have worked as housekeepers while travelling Australia for a little while and we IMMEDIATELY noticed the mould build up at the bottom of the shower curtain upstairs that clearly had not been changed or washed along with mould build up in the tub. The only place in the whole villa with aircon were the two bedrooms (the air cons in those rooms also sucked it was still hot) and the balcony door in the king bedroom had a gap in it when it was closed so bugs could EASILY slip through during all hours of the day and night. The downstairs area is completely not airconditioned and it actually exposed to bugs too so not only is it boiling hot but there is no fan to even remotely cool you down. The tv didn’t work due to water damage which we were warned about moments before entering the villa. The kitchen downstairs was also dirty and stained. Our villa was overlooking the shared pool which was also disgusting. The water was green and murky like it had not been cleaned in ages. There is construction going on around the entire villa, you barely have any privacy from seeing people on roofs doing work and it is extremely loud. The villa is down this very dodgy alleyway that not even our driver could drive down and my boyfriend almost fell off his moped multiple times because the road conditions were horrible. We stayed at this villa for a total of 3 or 4 hours while we waited for a new villa to be ready. We did not even attempt to stay the night about an hour after checking in and fully inspecting the place with our housekeeping experience we were searching for a new villa on airbnb and waiting for that one to be cleaned (which ended up being amazing). The photos of this place make it look way better than it is. Save ur money and book elsewhere.

Pool was lovely,beds comfortable and airconditioning in bedrooms was great.
Property was not very clean, the kitchen did not have enough cups, glasses, plates.
The toilet downstairs did not work and the shower upstairs was not great.

the place is quite good located, and the fact that it has a mezzanine, thus a separate living area and kitchen is cool if you’d like to hang out in the eve ing or prepare breakfast in the morning.
The bathroom was nıt clean at all, and the toilet doean’t flush toilet paper.

Location was great
The first apartment toilet was leaking and didn't flush. When asked them to look they didn't seem to care.. had to request a 2nd time to look at toilet. Then room changed. They didnt clean 1 time in 4 night stay. No fresh towels or bedding was offered. The 2nd apartment was filthy.
The staff do not follow Hindu practices with blessings and offering's as they should. We had be blessed and go to a temple as the energy and bad spirits affected us and there were rats in the pipes.
Hot water systems were terrible.
Asked for new toilet paper and they didnt have any at all at the villa office. Gave us paper towel.
Ketut did his best however the owner needs to take responsibility and make their villa acceptable again.

The place is good for its location and overall facilities. Just that certain things weren't working.
I like the staff they are very friendly and helpful. Super friendly staff who is always there to talk to you & help if you have any issues.
I didn't like the fact that the water pipe burst on one of the morning and I couldn't shower. I had to wait 30mins for the plumbing to fix. Also one of the days my aircon was spoiled when I came home in the evening at 7pm sadly they could only transfer me to a new unit the following day.

The staff were very attentive and accommodating.
The bed could have been cleaned more thoroughly. I found some long hairs under the pillow, probably from previous guests.

The second night there were ten cockroaches in the room. Luckily there was really nice cat Theo in the yard. We took Theo inside to villa and he took care of all the cockroaches. Theo the cat saved our evening.

Everything, we have booked and payed to stay for 2 days, but we need to find another hotel only to sleep well. The flush in the bathroom can not to use and also the shower from second floor. Dirty room and air conditioner not works well. Seems like the property not occupied for long time.

when we stayed for two days in Askara, our bathroom didn't clean up properly. Also, the WiFi didn't work well. Maybe this happen because pandemic and the property didn't have much staff to prepare the room daily.
