There wasn’t, every think we wanted for value of the money

The meals were fantastic with a very rustic menu for the evening meals and the breakfasts were excellent value for money with attention to detail standing out. Car parking is plentiful and the setting is like a picture postcard Nothing was too much trouble for Luke in the evening or the owner who created the breakfast and checkout experience

The stairs to the room are a bit steep so not suitable for disabled people who cant climb stairs. I use a walking stick and am in my 60s and i managed ok by taking my time

The breakfast were outstanding, thastaff were all very friendly, Meg booked us in and she was very helpful. The room and facilities were really good, clean and welcoming, we had a very good night's sleep.We had a meal in the early evening which was very wholesome and tasty. A large portion to, which was a normal serving. The location was ideal for shopping in Bristol or Bath. Breakfast was very tasty, cereal and orange juice first accompanied by a full English breakfast accompanied with as much toast as you wanted, served with tea or coffee. The owner / a nd chef bought out our breakfast and had a good chat with us, she was prepping for Sunday lunch and had to keep checking her Yorkshire puddings.....she is a really lovely lady, unfortunately we forgot to ask name.

Breakfast was lovely. Location was quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were lovely.

Carpets were very dirty. The place was very basic and worn. In need of a revamp. I’d rate it 2* maximum. Parking was very restricted. Glad we only stayed one night. Definitely not worth the money we paid.
