Dai Siciliani Paolo e Paola

Il cibo era buonissimo, tutto era cucinato a mano da Paola. Per colazione ha preparato torte, croissant, strudel, marmellate, panelle, arancini. Ogni giorno diverse pietanze. Ci siamo sentiti accolti nella loro casa e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Ci hanno anche stirato le camicie per la cerimonia

Per uscire ed entrare di casa con la macchina abbiamo sempre chiesto a Paolo per aprire il portone, anche se si è mostrato sempre disponibile anche di notte

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Für uns ein wenig so, als würden wir Freunde nach langer Zeit mal wieder besuchen. Es gab einen Kaffee zu Begrüßung. Paula und Paolo sind tolle und herzliche Gastgeber. Das Zimmer war zwar klein, sehr sauber und gepflegt und hatte Klima und einen kleinen Balkon. Der Garten ist frei begehbar und es gibt auch die Möglichkeit auf der Terrasse zu sitzen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und umfangreich. Es gab jeden Tag etwas anderes, frisch zubereitet und mit liebe selber gemacht. Mir dem Auto sind es nur wenige Minuten nach Marsala oder zum Meer. Zu empfehlen ist ein Abend an den Salinen mit tollem Sonnenuntergang. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder hier buchen.

La struttura è una bellissima villa immersa nel verde. Si è accolti a casa di Paolo e Paola, due coniugi che, con tutto l’amore per la loro terra, hanno fatto dell’arte dell’ospitalità una passione viscerale. Insieme sono un abbraccio che scalda il cuore e rinfranca l’anima. Un luogo fuori dal tempo.

Paola and Paola are very kind and friendly hosts. The garden is wonderful and the breakfast is excellent for Italian standards.

The rooms are really quite old and there is almost no soundproofing, so you can hear everything in the house. Everything is quite (very) dated and rusty, very small shower. There is a big but friendly dog in the garden. Breakfast is very fatty and sugary (as usual for Italy) with few protein-rich options (except one egg).
